So, it's becoming more and more obvious by the day that it seems Shad is half assing all of his performances on SmackDown! with Cryme Time, and holding JTG back, who is really starting to shine as a talent and potentially one for the future. But, with each person that praises JTG, I've got to ask... how could he be pushed? Not saying he doesn't deserve it, I'll completely agree with whatever praise people give him. But how can you push a person who has been stuck in a comedy tag team for years? And that's the topic, post about your thoughts on JTG and how you would repackage him so he would be eligible for a push.
I myself would have the Cryme Time team end with JTG turning on Shad. The two can get pushed for a few months and have a tag team title shot against JeriShow, only to lose after Shad gets smashed with the knockout punch. Leading to JTG finally snapping on his partner, and after helping him back up to his feet, lands a move on him (maybe his spinning neckbreaker he used to do.), and stands over his partner. Rename him "The Neighbourhoodie" (his ring name from OVW), and have him start a bad ass streak, not caring about what he does, and going about showing elements from what he did in Cryme Time but... seriously, like smashing peoples cars windows with a baseball bat. Have him feud with Shad for a month or two, with JTG/Neighbourhoodie winning in the end of it. After which, have him float about the Intercontinental Title Scene for a while, having title shots, but not winning on any occassion, and possibly feud him with R-Truth, before moving him to ECW where the push officially begins. Start him off slow, jobber victories and such, before moving him to the midcard against guys like Tommy Dreamer and Goldust, starting a winning streak which will lead to an ECW Title Shot, which he will lose, but look strong in, like Zack Ryder's title match from a few weeks back. Have him stick around in the main event scene by facing guys in the Upper Midcard leading up to another shot, and this time have him get DQ'd due to "castigo excesivo" (Excessive Punishment), which will lead him to a feud with whoever's the champion, which will end with him successfully beating Christian and becoming ECW Champion, with Christian finally moving to SmackDown! soon after. Let him reign for a few months, and yeah, it would be considered a successful push in my opinion, and a decent one as well. I haven't planned any further than that, but whatever, I'm more interested to hear what you guys would do. Or just your thoughts on JTG himself, that could also work.

Breaking up Cryme Tyme would be a horrible choice. Cryme Tyme is the only tag team worth a damn in the WWE. They aren't just 2 people that Vince said, "Hmm, OK, let's try this." It's not 2 guys that are just an alliance, they're a team. They have some tag teams that have good singles competitors, but, not great tag competitors. Like DX. Shawn Michaels is amazing, Triple H is....well...he's just Triple H. But I prefer them both as singles competitors. JeriShow is another example. Jericho is an amazing athlete, Big Show... he's a joke. Cryme Tyme has brought a little excitement into the tag division. We've all been saying for years how crappy the tag division is, and Cryme Tymes given us that little bit of hope. Personally, i'd keep JTG in Cryme Tyme, and give them their LOOOOOOOOONG overdue tag team title run. Thats how they should be booked, plain and simple.

If it where another time, I'd totally agree with you. Cryme Time have been a great tag team for years, and have made the tag division actually worth something rather than just making it seem like a dead art. But unless Shad actually steps up his game and starts wrestling like he used to, it's getting rather painful to watch their matches seeing how talented JTG is and then watching Shad do little to nothing.
Shad's getting like Carlito. Shown he could be a great talent, both in the ring and on the mic, but not backing it up and just seems to do nothing and going through the motions, and holding back Primo (Or in Shad's case, JTG) from becoming a singles star. WWE needs as many (legit and not randomly thrown together) tag teams as they can get if they want to revive it, but Cryme Time seem to have run their course and both men could do way better attempting a singles career than sticking together. Heck, give Shad a new tag team partner, just give JTG the push he's showing he deserves. s:

I think they should try giving the whole Cryme Tyme thing a break. I mean if Shad isn't willing to pull his end of the weight then why hold a talent like JTG back? They probably would've done good in the SD vs Raw Bragging Rights match (even though I did like the idea of adding DH Smith and Tyson Kidd) But none-the-less JTG is a great talent and WWE shouldn't let him be held back because his partner is slacking. Have one of the guest hosts do a trade, have JTG go to Raw and have him feud with The Miz for the U.S. title. It'd be a great way to give JTG the push he deserves. If anyone else can remember back in 2006 I think it was Cryme Tyme won a match at New Year's Revolution to become the #1 contenders for the World Tag Team Titles and never got their match. This would be the perfect way to give JTG who's worked his can off for nearly 4 years the push he deserves.

if cena ever goes heel, he should start a faction of "beat the crap out of you with baseball bats and dominate you the whole time" guys. one of the guys i would put under him if that ever happened is the neiborhoodie (along with charlie haas and maybe the miz depending on what hes doing). sure it may be a step back for him a bit, but then again, he could end up getting a push out of it.

Tman means that JTG would turn heel (alongside John Cena and possible others) and start a faction that could just beat everyone with baseball bats.

JTG was called the Neighborhoodie in OVW, that's what it has to do with JTG.
