This week on OWW Radio Nick will sit down with Gabriel Ramirez, promoter for the hugely successful Pro Wrestling Revolution. PWR is a West Coast based Indy company that has received high praise from Dave Meltzer in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter and has been selling out shows all across California. This past April PWR also put on a show at the annual Cauliflower Alley Club Convention in Las Vegas that, according to Nick Anthony, "thrilled the crowd."
If you could ask a successful promoter any question what would it be? Call us at OWW Radio toll-free right now to leave your question and then tune in next Tuesday to see if your soundbyte was used for the interview. Toll Free

Here's something that I will be asking Gabe and your feedback would be great to include in the conversation.
A lot of talks over the years state that Vince McMahon is lack of better term an Asshole when it comes to Wrestlers he isn't close to. As a Promoter you deal with a lot of different personalities in Wrestlers. So you can share some light on this topic. Can a Promoter not be an Asshole to it's talent? Wouldn't the talent just walk over the Promotion and the Promoter if you are too giving? What about if the Wrestler is making money for the Promotion, he is drawing in the crowds in other words. Do you remain an Asshole or do you relax a little on Wrestlers who draw? Here's another question Say your top Wrestler in the Promotion refuses to lose or end a match the way scripted. Remember this Wrestler is a top draw and is making money for the Promotion. How do you handle this situation? Does these scenarios sound familiar? They should they have happened. Find out what a real Promoter goes through with Talent. Put yourself in the Promoters shoes and tell me what you think? |
