Mr. Kennedy Wins a World Title

– Former WWE superstar Ken “Mr. Kennedy” Anderson is the new World Champion for the Nu Wrestling Evolution promotion. He won the title at a live event in Malta on October 2nd, after defeating former WWE superstar Chuck Palumbo & Tiny Iron in a three way match. Here’s Ken Anderson celebrating his big win:  ----------------------------- It's good that Kennedy's getting the push he deserves, too bad it's not with WWE.

My question is.... is he wearing anything besides knee pads, boots, elbow pads, wrist tape, and a championship belt? I'm with everybody else who said that belt is ugly, it's pretty damn ugly actually. But congrats are in order to Kennedy for winning a companies top title.

I have to agree with Truth on this one....
It is a sad state of affairs if this belt classifies you as a World Champion. (nothing to do with Horsey's embarassing revelation that it retails for $99.00). What legacy does this World Championship have? None... it has been a short line of sub-par workers with name recognition. Honestly, this is like saying the Wrestling Society X chamipionship was a "world" title...

I'd say it's a European Title, at least. It's been defended across Italy, Spain and the UK. Possibly Germany, can't remember. It's bigger than most titles at least, even though I agree, the belt is ugly as hell.
Congrats to Kennedy though, I guess. This will make NWE a lot more interesting as it will lead to Kennedy getting injured and them having to do a tournament for the belt, and they have quite a good roster of British, German and former WWE Stars. And Ultimo Dragon.

I think he does deserve a company's top title, he gets injured alot but has talent and could be a draw for them.
But it is not a wsorld title, they aren't big enough to have a world title. The only non WWE, TNA, Japanese, Mexican/pourto rican title I would consider a world title is the NWA's based on it's history. Still this title is impressive.
