What If? This forum opens up everyone's mind to ask the question "What if...?". "What if HBK went to WCW instead of Bret?", "What if Tony Schiavone didn't announce Mick Foley's WWF Title win on Nitro?", "What if McMahon bought the UWF instead of Crockett?"

Respect the Game; I don't care if you like him, but he'd still be that damn good, with or without Steph.
I agree with most of it, but Tripper is NOT a major draw on his own.
He needs another big name to draw with ...... just look at how the numbers have dwindled after Autsin & Rock left the business

I'll grant you that Goldy, but with very few notable exceptions, such as Hogan, who really has the power to draw on their own?

Austin wouldn't have been nearly the draw he was without McMahon.

The Rock and Austin fueled each other's drawing abilities.

Sans Hogan's crazy following in the 80's, I can't really think of anybody who had the ability to draw huge just because they were going to be there. All you had to do in the late 80's was put up a poster saying "Hulk Hogan in action!" and people would be lined up around the block to see him go against One Man Gang or The Genius or whoever. Flip that to the 90's, and you couldn't just say "Stone Cold Steve Austin in action!" and think you'd have the same reaction as Stone Cold v. McMahon or Stone Cold v. The Rock.

Hogan's about the only guy in history who could draw on his own, I think. I think even Trips with his overinflated ego would admit that he's nowhere near where Hogan was, and that he's nowhere near where HE was when Rock and Austin were around.

Of course, the booking was a thousand times better during the Rock/Austin Attitude era too, so there's plenty of potential factors that weigh into why the numbers have dwindled so much.

Sorry to go against the grain but HHH would not have the glory he does now. Yes many runs he would have no more than Eight I would say; reason because he would hold it longer and more reason would be behind them, unlike Edge who's runs were not of sense. Two runs less that what he has now, slowly losing clout as well. I doubt he would have held the belt in the last one in a half to two years. I am just jumping to that conclusion I have nothing to back that up with other than Cena year long title domination and his refusal to as Heyman put it "Work Tuesdays." His injures would have also set back his career. I also doubt the whole new DX wave would have been around right now. Or at least not as huge. He would have all the things you guys say just less of it. Reasoning look at Micheals "HHH's Political Teacher" Four Reigns since he been with WWE, and none since 2002 almost seven years ago. Also Younger guys seem to be winning the titles more frequently: Edge, Punk, Cena, Orton, Batista, etc. They seem to pull in the old guys only when the Young guns get a little too cocky.
