Kave if you go to Jimmy's school and get in the ring and let him slam you, have the wife take pictures. That was a great interview. A girl needs her cheese and crackers!!

That was a joyess interview, Jimmy and the wife are nice, genuine people.
TNA your comment about WWE wrestlers being on roids that ou could throw a dart at the roster was funny.

Yeah I got it about 20 minutes ago from the Davey Richards thread. It loaded about 11 seconds then stopped. I just found it again so hopefully it'll work.

Wow!
I can't believe how much I had missed these shows. Since it was just recently that I had found the time to join up here on this new OWW I hadn't been able to listen to these shows. But I just finished listening to both of the new ones and I have to take my hat off to you all for some great listening. Regarding this weeks show- I loved it! The interview with Jimmy Valiant was awsome! He seems like the coolest guy. Well, maybe that's because he sounds like such a hippie . He seems like the happiest, care-free guy in the world right now and that is just awsome. And his wife was there lol and she seemed just as nice and cool as he did. Actually, Jimmy Valiant in this interview reminded me a lot of like any old lovable grandfarther. I don't know if that makes sence or not but I can't think of any better way to explain it lol. I was never really the biggest Valiant brothers fan before this (Well hey, most of thier time was way before I was even born) but after listening to this, I would love to one day just hang out with this man. That would be the coolest. I wish I could join you Kave when you head out to Jimmy's wrestling school/museam. The other thing I thought was really..........different about this show was how it was more unporfessional. But I mean that in a good way. Most other professional radio shows, when they have interviews with people, they try and control the interview too much. There after only the answers and arn't just there to talk and have a good time. (Although maybe that's because they have time constraints) But in this show, you just allowed Jimmy to talk, say what he wanted, be himself and I think he came off as being very comfortable and happy there, which turned out great! Most shows would not have even thought about asking Jimmy to talk to his wife, but you guys did and it turned out great lol. You know, just the other day I was walking around the local bookstore when I came across Larry Zbysco's book. I love reading books about profesisonal wrestling and own many autobiographies. For some reason however, I wasn't sure if I should pick up and buy Zbysco's book. I don't know what was stopping me. But then I thought back to your interview with Zbysco not to long ago when he was on this show and for some reason, because of that, I decided to buy his book. It's sitting on my shelf and I am going to start reading it soon. If I hadn't listend to this interview, and I saw Jimmy Valiants book on the shelf, I would have thought to myself, "nah, I'm not that interested in Jimmy Valiant, maybe I shouldn't pick up his book". Well, you know what, Jimmy came off as the coolest guy in this interview, he just sold me into buying his book. ![]() P.S- On a sadder note however, sorry to here about your police problems Truth. Many times I myself have worried about getting caught under those same charges if you catch my drift ![]() Oh, I also noticed there wasn't any Hogan Watches or "this week in wrestling" parts of the show this week. I was missing those. Oh lastly, is it possible that for future shows you guys can provide alternate links to listen to the shows, like through windows media player or something, so then I can listen to the show while still being able to cruise through the rest of the site. Thanks. Last edited by Toron; 02-19-2009 at 04:17 AM. |

Thanks Toron! LOL.
There wasn't any Hogan Watch segments recorded this week because there wasn't really anything notworthy happening. With the rumors of a Hogan WM match kicking up again I'd expect to see Hogan Watch return, soon. We did record This Week in Wrestling as well as a few other segments that didn't make the final cut. For instance, did you know WWE has changed the World Heavyweight Championship recently? I didn't, Kave brought up the fact that the belt was smaller on the show. Some things just don't record well so they're cut from the final product. Keep the feedback rolling.

I was on for that Truth, I noticed something different too. I've seen it before. I think HBK had it. Go look at his pic on the title history and you'll see what I mean.
