The Kingfish Arnie Katz puts some heat on a few of the folks who script the dramatic segments on WWE and TNA TV shows.
There is no fan so soulless as to have never said, “I wish they’d do it this way,” when watching professional wrestling in the relative quiet of their living room. And it would dishonest not to admit that all of us have occasionally enjoyed Walter Mitty-esque dreams of taking over the booking at TNA or WWE to “show them how it should be done.”
That’s part of the fun of being a smart wrestling fan. It’s like the privilege of second-guessing baseball umpires and debating the judges’ scoring in MMA and boxing.

New England Championship Wrestling kicks off 2009 on Saturday night, January 10 at the National Guard Armory, 1000 Hancock Street in Quincy, MA with SNOWBRAWL. Bell time for this event is 7:00 PM.
The main event is a first of its kind title vs. title match as NECW Triple Crown Champion “The Mohawked Enforcer” Max Bauer collides with NECW Television Champion, Handsome Johnny, accompanied by Sammi Lane in a bout where both men’s championships are on the line in a “winner take all” collision.

The week between Christmas and New Years is notorious as a slow time in wrestling. Many stars take the time to spend with their families. The biggest news of the week in the WWE was the arrival of Kizarny. The former Sinn Bowdee/Bowdie really surprised a lot of people with his agility and power. This veteran of the ring wars is this week’s OWW: Wrestler of the Week.
