Lauderdale. On Saturday, November 3rd, Mayberry will seek his revenge against Peelander-Z, promising to destroy the group at their headlining JaniCon convention musical performance. Mayberry promises to recapture HCW’s Hardcore Championship for an unprecedented eighth time. Previous Title wins include victories over ECW’s Hack Meyers, WCW’s Power Company Twins, and cast members of WWE’s Tough Enough 3 reality show.
This is Peelander-Z’s FIRST EVER pro-wrestling Championship reign, with two of the three band members being the current, reigning and defending HCW Hardcore Co-Champions. The band, much like Mayberry in the past, will have to defend their Co-Championship under HCW’s 24/7 Hardcore Title defense rule.
The JaniCon convention takes place in Jacksonville, Florida, the weekend of November 2nd through the 4th, at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk Hotel [at 1515 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32207]. It features stars from many anime shows and movies, dealers from around the world, various panels and contests, and musical performances being headlined by Peelander-Z.
The trio will perform Friday, November 2nd at midnight and Saturday, November 3rd at 9 PM. Mayberry has vowed that he will be in Jacksonville for Saturday’s performance, and promises to be there at 9 PM sharp. It will certainly be a Peelander weekend, with two live performances, autograph signings, and a poolside bikini cosplay party featuring the trio and their fans, hosted by Sonnie Wright of www.StubbyChubby.com. That is on Saturday, November 3rd as well, from 6-8 PM.
