IHWE SHOWDOWN
WORTH HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CENTER, FORT WORTH, TEXAS
SATURDAY, APRIL 17, 2010

Raffles were held throughout the night for an autographed IHWE T-shirt, a $50 gas card from QT, and a 50/50 raffle in which the winner received half the money collected for that raffle, with proceeds from the night benefiting the Worth Heights Community Center and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Race For The Cure.

Franco D’Angelo came out and talked candidly about his recent health scares, which included an appendectomy and a blood clot that came dangerously close to his heart, and he said he may not wrestle for a year.  He then called out IHWE Heavyweight Champion Mike Foxx, and the two men expressed mutual respect for each other, despite the brutal match they had for the belt a month ago.

GENESIS (Carrion Arcane & Khris Haiden) (w/ Kyle Davis) beat LIVE WIRE & DONOVAN STEELE by disqualification when Live Wire and Steele used a steel chair that Davis had thrown into the ring for his men to use.

DIAMOND ICEE beat LILLIE MAE

All the IHWE stars came out and surrounded the ring as IHWE Owner David Fuller, Raven Willow Fuller and David Farmer Sr. inducted the late Johnny Valentine into the IHWE Hall of Fame.  Valentine’s widow, Sharon Valentine, came out to receive the induction, and she said Johnny would have enjoyed this Hall of Fame more than the one in New York because he thought so highly of Texas talent.  Ring announcer Rob Moore gave Sharon a bouquet of roses, and, one by one, each of the IHWE wrestlers gave Sharon a rose in appreciation.

As the wrestlers went to the back, David Fuller called for Kyle Davis, who had behaved disrespectfully during the ceremony by laughing, talking and drinking a soda, to stay behind, sending Genesis to the back.  Fuller wanted to punish Davis, but IHWE General Manager Nite had his own punishment in mind.  He called “Solid Gold” Greg Symonds, who was in the stands watching the show, to come to the ring, and Symonds proceeded to beat some respect into Davis.  Symonds tossed the manager out of the ring, where Raven told him, “YOU’RE FIRED!”

AFTERSHOCK beat ZERO THE ANTI-HERO

Spoiler 2000 did a promo in which he talked about his return to IHWE and was looking for a title shot.  As he left the ring, Showtime Scott Summers was making his entrance and bumped into Spoiler.  The two men exchanged intense stares before Spoiler left.

SCOTT SUMMERS beat KHRIS WOLFE

After the bell, Summers would not release the submission hold he had on Wolfe.  Spoiler returned to the ring and forced Summers to break.  The two men then went back-and-forth on the microphone, with Spoiler challenging Summers to a match right then and there.  They were about to lock up when Summers abruptly left.

Rob Moore was talking about IHWE’s next show, All Out Insanity, scheduled for Saturday, May 29 at the Highland Hills Community Center in Fort Worth, when he was interrupted by Dave Dunnings and manager Ken Kelly.  Dunnings said he was supposed to have a match with Texas Red, but Dunnings attacked Red in the parking lot and left him laying.  Dunnings demanded that the referee raise his hand, but, just as he was about to, Red staggered in, wet from being out in the rain, and he and Dunnings started their match.

TEXAS RED beat DAVE DUNNINGS (w/ Ken Kelly)

SHAWN VEXX beat ERIC KINCADE

I QUIT MATCH
LOGAN beat BRYAN RYDER

Moore introduced the band Razorblade Dolls to make the introduction for the next match, a Full Metal Mayhem Match, in which anything metal could be used as a weapon.

FULL METAL MAYHEM MATCH
CHRIS RICHTER beat BRENT MASTERS

After the match, Masters recovered and set up Richter in the corner, and all four members of the Razorblade Dolls, including the girl, took turns splashing Richter against the turnbuckles.

IHWE MAIN EVENT — IHWE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Champion MIKE FOXX and DFW Champion CHICO TORRES went to a no contest when Seth Shai ran in and attacked both men.  Franco D’Angelo, who had shaken hands with both Foxx and Torres and watched the match from a seat next to Rob Moore, entered the ring and got into Shai’s face … and then he turned around and planted Foxx with the Silencer!  D’Angelo removed his sweats to reveal full ring gear, and he and Shai went to work on both Foxx and Torres.  David Fuller came out and made an immediate tag team match of Foxx & Torres vs. D’Angelo & Shai.

MIKE FOXX & CHICO TORRES beat FRANCO D’ANGELO & SETH SHAI when Torres pinned Shai after Foxx and D’Angelo fought all the way back to the dressing room.
