We at Costco write to you today looking for your help in regards to an upcoming charitable fundraiser running April 28th to June 1st 2008. We are committed to running a successful campaign with a goal of raising up to $50,000 in one month – all proceeds to benefit the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. Between all three Winnipeg Costco warehouses we hope to raise as much as $150,000 in May 2008 for this campaign.
We are asking for the participation and support of various children’s groups, preschools, elementary schools , families and the general community to come down and enjoy the festivities at our warehouse…
The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba is offering a RAFFLE- win a stainless steel barbeque, outdoor patio set or Canon Rebel camera kit. A limited number of tickets go on sale immediately !
Friday May 9th after 5pm we are recieving by SPECIAL ORDER a large shipment of KRISPY KREME donuts just in time for Mother’s Day weekend. We also have roses for Mom this weekend also so make sure you come to Costco this weekend to get a rose and some of this limited supply of Krispy Kreme donuts!
Saturday May 10 – Meet Julie Hart, once the wife of Bret Hart wrestling champion, who will be here for autographs. Julie is an advocate of children’s charities and is graciously showing her support for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. Julie will be available from 11am to 3pm only !
Monday May 12- 18 we have a SILENT AUCTION with amazing prizes such as an autographed Canadiens puck, autographs from Nickelback, autographs from Joan Rivers, private balloon ride over Winnipeg, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra tickets, opera tickets, original artworks, gift certificates for Inverness Resort and so much more! Come to the warehouse and see- absolutely free to bid !
Saturday May 17th and Saturday May 31st we have the Winnipeg Goldeyes here for autographs from 11am-1pm. All autographs by donation; come and meet your favorite player !
Our big weekend is called Miracle Weekend and is on SATURDAY MAY 24 from 11am – 4pm and SUNDAY MAY 25 from 1pm- 4pm. Our warehouse will have the Winnipeg Fire Department down with their Fire Safety house, kids can get their photos taken by donation with firemen… We have clowns and face painting, balloons and live entertainment planned.
Saturday May 31 to June 1st is our Grand Finale weekend- come again for clowns, face painting and various entertainers. This is our wrap up so come down to help us reach those goals for Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba !
Sunday June 1st we have a large garage sale with all proceeds to Children’s Hospital. Come down and puruse our items or better yet join in with your own items and donate your raised money to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba !
