[Obituaries] I was stunned and extremely saddened by the passing of my friend, long-time Online World of Wrestling supporter, and legendary ladies wrestler, Penny Banner. Penny was one of the first big name celebrity wrestlers to take me, and this website, seriously. She was a source of tremendous support and never failed to reply to any email I sent her way – no matter how ridiculous. Penny passed away after a long battle with cancer. She will be missed by everybody in the wrestling community. Rest in peace. – Greg Oliver posted a good-bye message on the SLAM! website, entitled Goodbye Penny Banner; I’ll miss you.
