[TNA PPV] TNA’s “Slammiversary 2009” pay-per-view event will celebrate seven years of Total Nonstop Action in the Motor City of Detroit. “Slammiversary” will be held at The Palace of Auburn Hills Sunday, June 21 at 8 p.m. ET live on pay-per-view. Tickets for “Slammiversary” will go on sale Friday, May 8 at 10 am at all Ticketmaster locations and charge by phone (248-645-6666).

[Misc News] Meet the wrestlers that make up the Kardinal Sinners; Brody Steel, Trash Canyon, Wildman Williams, and Kowboy Mike Hughes. If these names sound familiar to you, it’s because they are the stars of the popular reality show “Wrestling Reality” on The Fight Network last year. Off the ropes and behind the scenes of what may be their last wrestling tour, this program is the second series of the “Wrestling With Reality” (WWR) franchise. [Misc News] The March issue of Giant Magazine features former WWE star “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson on the cover. In the article, “Dwayne Johnson: Metamorphic”, he discusses everything from growing up in a wrestling family to his now thriving movie career. In addition, he credits wrestling and the WWE with providing him a unique lesson in the art of performing. He tells Giant Magazine, “Wrestling gave me the platform to entertain crowds of twenty, thirty, forty, fifty thousand people. The experience was invaluable. ..We played Madison Square Garden every month and a half, one little stage. That was my theater, and what a learning experience it was.” The magazine, now available on newsstands, features 9 full-page pictures of “The Rock”.
