South Amboy’s McCarrick TouchDown Club Fundraiser With Pro Wrestling Stars

Headlining NPWS’ first ever appearance at McCarrick High School will be no less than *three* former WWE & ECW TV stars, in the form of former ECW stars “Dastardly” Danny Doring and the “Innovator Of Violence” Tommy Dreamer, and former WWE TV star and Tag-Team Champion and hair cutter extraordinaire, the one and only Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

There will also be appearances by NPWS Jersey Shore Champion “The Love Machine” Nicky Oceans and NPWS Cruiserweight Champion “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie, as well as other regional and local pro mat stars such as South Amboy’s “Low-Life” Louie Ramos, “The Cold-Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto, Jersey Shore lunatic Slayer, and much more, including special guest appearances by McCarrick High School’s Coach Hills and Mike Lange, and much more.

SteeltownProWrestling.ca cameras caught up with a few of the Steeltown ProStars this week to get their comments regarding SPW’s upcoming triple shot including Morden Mayhem III, SPW on the Paddlewheel Queen and the 3rd Annual Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament.

SPW’s official website launched during the month of August setting a record amount of website traffic with more than 3,900 page views for the period of August 1, 2010 to August 31, 2012.  SPW officials were extremely pleased with the results.

MORDEN MAYHEM III ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2012

SteeltownPro presents Morden Mayhem III featuring WWE Legend and former WWF Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man on Thursday September 20th at the Access Event Centre (111-D Gilmour Street) in Morden, Manitoba.  Tickets are $12, doors open at 6:30 PM with a 7:00 PM bell time.

SPW and Paddlewheel Riverboats LTD present one of the most unique events in wrestling history on Saturday September 22nd when it presents live pro wrestling on the top deck of the Paddlewheel Queen.  Come aboard at the Redwood Docks at 55 Redwood Avenue at the corner of Redwood Avenue and Main Street.  Tickets are $15 with a 1:00 PM bell time.

Matches signed for this event is a Riverboat Rumble, SPW Heavyweight Champion La Sombra defending against JJ Sanchez, “Misfit” Mike Mission & Cory Diamond challenging the SPW Tag Team Champion and women’s wrestling featuring the Wild Women of SPW.  Also signed to appear is MARIUS, “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom, Jethro Hawg, Mr. Nasty and more.

KERRY BROWN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2012

SPW honors the memory of “Pitbull” Kerry Brown on Sunday September 23rd when it presents the 3rd Annual Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament featuring WWE Legend and former WWF Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man at the Casa Do Minho Portuguese Centre (1080 Wall Street) in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Tickets are $12, doors open at 6:30 PM with a 7:00 PM bell time.  This event is currently sponsored by Inferno’s on Academy.

Participants announced for the tournament include 2011 Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament Winner and SPW Heavyweight Champion La Sombra, 2012 Red River Rumble Winner Jethro Hawg, former protégé of Kerry Brown “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom and Kerry Brown’s last wrestling opponent “Hotshot” Danny Duggan.  Also signed to appear are WWE Legend Honky Tonk Man, MARIUS, SPW Provincial Champion Mike Mission, SPW Tag Team Champion SYKO, JJ Sanchez, Kevy Chevy, Reggie Gallagher, the Wild Women of SPW and more.

THE ROAD TO 100 CONTINUES

By the end of the Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament Steeltown Pro Wrestling will have successfully promoted 95 live events since its debut event in April 2008.  Having never cancelled a live event in its near 5 year history, SPW officials are looking forward to celebrating its 100th event which could happen in December 2012 or January 2013.  Following the milestone of promoting 100 live events, SPW officials will turn their attentions to the SPW 5th Anniversary Show set for April 2013.
