    John Proulx wrote: One of my earliest memories of the WWF is of the Masked Superstar taking on Eddie Gilbert (sometime around 1981-82) and putting a clawhold on Gilbert’s head. I remember Gilbert bleeding, and the WWF put a big red “X” over the screen to protect us youngsters from the horrible sight. This was, to my knowledge, Gilbert’s last appearance in the WWF ..
