In The Beginning: Robert Windham is the father of wrestlers Barry Windham & Kendall Windham and his daughter married Mike Rotundo.. Robert Windham was a promising football player at West Texas State and got into the New York Jets organization.. A broken leg ended in football career but Sonny Werblin (CEO of Madison Square Garden) suggested he try wrestling.. Getting into the Business: Robert Windham began wrestling under the name "Jack Mulligan" before coming to the World Wide Wrestling Federation.. Jack Mulligan was teamed up with Jack Lanza as the Blackjacks, Blackjack Mulligan & Blackjack Lanza.. 1972--AWA Soldiers Field: The Crusher & Dick the Bruiser defeated The Blackjacks inside of a Steel Cage.... World Wide Wrestling Federation: August 26, 1975: The Blackjacks defeated Dominic Denucci & Pat Barrett to win the WWWF World Tag Team titles.. November 19, 1975: Tony Parisi & Louis Cerdan (aka Gino Brito) defeated The Blackjacks to capture the WWF Tag Team titles.. The match ended up going outside where both competitors used an old parked pick up truck, complete with rope and barbed wire in the back, as a battering ram against each other. Holiday was at the match displaying his hyperactivity that was part of his angle. In 1990 Kendall Windham and his father Blackjack Mulligan were arrested by the US Secret Service in a joint investigation with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for counterfeiting. The authorities found close to $500,000 in phony $20 bills. As a result of a plea agreement both father and son spent 24 months in a federal prison and were released in 1992.
