In The Beginning:

  • November 1, 1968: Jimmy Garvin made his debut (as a teenager) managing Terry Garvin at the old Phoenix Madison Square Garden.

International Wrestling (Montreal):

  • Jimmy Garvin formed a tag team with his “brother” (actually step father) Ron Garvin and feuded with the Rougeau Family.

World Class Championship Wrestling:

  • June 17, 1983 – Star Wars: David von Erich defeated Jimmy Garvin w/Sunshine to win the Texas Heavyweight title.
  • ~~~David von Erich also won the services of Jimmy Garvin and Sunshine on his ranch for one day.
  • July 4, 1983 – Star Wars: David von Erich beat Jimmy Garvin to win the held-up World Class Texas title.
  • September 5, 1983 – Star Wars: Kevin von Erich defeated Jimmy Garvin (American Champion) by Disqualification.
  • November 24, 1983 – Star Wars: Chris Adams defeated Jimmy Garvin to win the World Class American title.
  • December 25, 1983 – Star Wars: Jimmy Garvin defeated Chris Adams to reclaim the World Class American title.

  • May 6, 1984 – Parade of Champions: Chris Adams and Sunshine defeated Jimmy Garvin and Precious.
  • July 4, 1984 – Star Wars: Chris Adams and Stella Mae French beat Jimmy Garvin and Precious in a “Loser Leaves Town” Cage match.
  • Jimmy Garvin was a close ally to the Fabulous Freebirds and eventually became a member of the group later in WCW.
