In The Beginning: Jon Emminger played college football, and dominated the fields of the Arena Football League (AFL).. 2001 / 2002: Jon Emminger had NFL try outs, and at one time was a quarterback for the St. Louis Rams.. 2004: Jon Emminger was struck in the head with a lead pipe and put in a coma for a long time - he even lost 45 pounds.. ~~~The attack almost killed him, and doctors said he was going to die, but he came back to life and got the nickname "Lucky"..
