  • June 8, 2010: Maury High (aka Rocket Monroe) passed away [reported by Karl Stern and www.wrestlingobserver.com]
  • ~~~He had been hospitalized over the weekend with an infection in his blood but did come home Saturday night and seemed okay.

    Mike Aldren wrote: 1960s and 70s wrestler Rocket Monroe (Maury High) passed away on Monday. He was in the hospital with blood infection for a few days last week. He came home on Saturday night, seemingly okay, but died two days later. Monroe wrestled mostly in the Southeast as Sputnik Monroe’s tag team partner.
