Dale Pierce wrote: Rocky Sorter & Jope Cagle made up the tag team of The Angels of Mercy (managed by Mad Dog Marcial Bovee (aka The Time Traveler) in IWL promotion run by Joey Rossi in Tennessee/Kentucky then as The Heartbreakers in Jarrett territory, managed by Jimmy Hart. One of the most outrageous things these two did was supposedly kill, cook and eat Plowboy Frazier’s prize winning rooster which they won in a bout, supposedly eating a cooked dinner on live TV, consisting of the roasted bird, and thus starting a long feud with Frazier .
