August 27, 2008: Ron Hill passed away at the age of 73 from complications after hip replacement surgery..
Rick Hill (Ron's son) wrote: [My father] picked up gimmick of Cowboy because he worked at a wild west show and they started calling him "Cowboy" when he would show up to wrestle. Finishing moves: He had a variety of them not to be pinned down to only one (pun intended) Favorite moves: Front facelock.....Feuds: Everyone he wrestled... also a lot of promoters.... Title history: World's Light Heavyweight Champion..... Career highlights: Wrestling the old timers was the greatest time in his career.
