Ron Miller played 1st grade rugby league for Sydney's Eastern Suburbs where he was given the nickname "Dash".. Ron Miller began training with Hal Morgan & Jim Deakin in Australia and later in Florida USA.. 1964: Ron Miller turned pro and wrestled in clubs throughout Australia and New Zealand.. 1971: Ron Miller teamed with Larry O'Dea as the Australians in the Florida territory.. ~~~After spending a few years in Florida, he & O'Dea toured Germany, Japan & the Far East before returning home.. Ron Miller & Larry O'Day became shareholders in World Championship Wrestling (Australia) with Jim Barnett.. Ron Miller & Larry O'Day bought the promotion from Barnett's successor Tony Kolonie at the end of 1974.. Ron Miller's matches for the NWA World Heavyweight title against Harley Race and Dory Funk were classics to be remembered..
