Trios Match
Matt Hardy (7-2) & Private Party (10-9) vs. “Hangman” Adam Page (20-5) & The Beaver Boys (2-7)

The Beaver Boys wear cowboy hats and purple bandanas to the ring to match Page’s look.

Page and Quen start off against each other and after a stalemate Hardy tags in. Hardy and Private Party triple team Page in their corner. The Beaver Boys come in and even the odds and they all hit a Triple Big Boot. Reynolds Scoop Slams Kassidy as Silver jumps on Page’s back and Page hits a Backsplash Senton on Kassidy for a nearfall.

Beaver Boys double team Kassidy and then Page hits a Running Shooting Star Press as Silver tags in and gets a nearfall. Silver hits a series of kicks but Quen manages to tag Kassidy and Quen hits a series of backdrops on Beaver Boys before knocking Page off the apron. Kassidy and Quen hit an Assisted Moonsault for a nearfall.

Kassidy holds Silver over his knee and then Quen hits a Standing Moonsault off Silver’s back for a nearfall. Hardy tags in and beats Silver down in their corner before putting Silver in a Sleeper. Silver counters out with a Back Suplex and then blocks a Side Effect attempt only for Hardy to throw him into the corner and connect with the Side Effect.

Matt goes for an elbow off the top but Silver catches him with a shot to the gut followed by a Brainbuster. Both men make hot tags with Page and Kassidy tagging in. Page hits a series of clotheslines and then misses a third only to land on his feet on a German Suplex attempt. Page hits a Springboard Clothesline on Quen and then a Fall Away Slam on Kassidy. Page hits a Plancha onto Hardy on the floor.

In the ring, Page decapitates Kassidy with a Lariat for a nearfall. Page goes for a Powerbomb but Kassidy blocks it and manages to reach out and tag Hardy. Hardy hits a Side Effect on Page for a nearfall of his own. Hardy goes for a Twist of Fate but Page shoves him into the ropes and hits a Lariat. Reynolds and Quen both tag in now.

Reynolds avoids a charging Quen and then connects with a Splash followed by a Flying Back Elbow and then a Roaring Elbow. Reynolds hits a Lifting Neckbreaker for a nearfall. Reynolds and Silver hit a series of strikes followed by a Stunner and then Silver tosses Quen into a Pop-Up Powerbomb from Page. Silver rolls Quen into a German Suplex and then dives onto Kassidy on the floor as Reynolds stacks Quen up. 1…2…NO Matt Hardy breaks it up and then drags Silver onto the apron and hits a Twist of Fate off the apron onto the floor!

Page attacks Hardy but Kassidy dropkicks him over the barricade. Kassidy hits an Enziguri on Reynolds and then Private Party hit the Gin & Juice but Hardy blind tags Quen and steals the pin.

Winners: Private Party & Matt Hardy

In the back, Alex Marvez congratulates MJF and Jericho on winning “Best Performance of 2020” from the NY Times for their song and dance routine a few weeks back. Jericho starts to say something but MJF cuts him off and brags about winning back the Dynamite Diamond Ring and the NY Times Award. MJF mockingly says that he doesn’t agree with all the fans saying that he is much better than Jericho. He calls Jericho the GOAT and says he is his best friend and his mentor. None of the Inner Circle members look happy.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes are shown decorating their Christmas Tree when the door rings and a gift arrives. The gift is a pair of Gucci booties with an ornament that says “we’re having a baby” apparently announcing that Brandi is pregnant.

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (20-3-1) w/Brandi Rhodes & Arn Anderson vs. Angelico (2-2) w/Jack Evans

Excalibur did a good job of breaking down Angelico’s career and talking about all of his stops in Spain and Mexico and how he was mentored by Negro Navarro, a lucha libre legend. Angelico and Cody show off some nice chain wrestling with Angelico getting the advantage. Angelico slaps Cody when Cody gets the better of him on a mat sequence.

The both hit the ropes and Cody leapfrogs Angelico before popping him with a dropkick for a nearfall.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Angelico and Cody exchange waistlocks until Cody trips Angelico and hits a Shining Wizard. Cody hits a series of clotheslines and then a Powerslam for a nearfall. Cody swings at Angelico but he catches his hand and then rolls him up in the Navarro Dos Mill submission (pretty much putting him a pretzel) until Cody manages to scoot his but to the ropes and bite the bottom rope to break the hold.

Cody comes back with a Backslide for a nearfall and then goes for a Disaster Kick but Angelico sees him coming and catches him and slams his knee into the mat. He then puts Cody in the Navarro Death Roll right into the Cruceta Inverdtidas (Reverse Figure Four). Cody manages to get to the ropes to break the hold but sells a knee injury.

Cody comes back with an uppercut and then goes for the CrossRhodes but Angelico blocks it only for Cody to spring to the top and dive off with the Cody Cutter for the pin.

Winner: Cody via pifnall (Cody Cutter)

Team Taz come out and congratulate Cody for his win and the announcement that he is going to be a dad. Taz mocks Cody and Ricky Starks asks where their congratulations were last month when they made Cody and Darby call them daddy. Taz says that they are going to put Cody on paternity leave sooner than later but Sting comes out wielding his bat and Team Taz backs down.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Alex Marvez interviews Miro and says that AEW fined him $75,000 for his attacks on security staff last week. Miro says that that money is money that OC owes him now. He says he will face Sonny Kiss on Dark next week and then an announcement will be made about Kip and Penelope’s wedding on Dynamite next week. Marvez asks about the people Miro put in the hospital last week. “BAH HUMBUG,” Miro says.

Eddie Kingston comes out and says he doesn’t care if the fans boo him because he doesn’t care about any of them. Kingston says that they took PAC out and he won’t be coming back and then turns his attention to Lance Archer which brings Archer out immediately.

Archer attacks Kingston but Butcher and Blade jump him and beat him down. Lucha Brothers run out with PAC and they attack Kingston’s crew. Lucha Brothers take out Butcher and Blade with dives and then Archer goes for a Chokeslam on Kingston only for PAC to kick Kingston in the face. Archer gets pissed at PAC for intervening allowing Kingston and his crew to get away.

Dustin Rhodes talks about what Evil Uno said to him last week. He says that Uno was wrong saying he is the third most important Rhodes and he says that he will take the Dark Order down one by one.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, MJF, Santana, Ortiz, Jake Hager & Sammy Guevara) vs. The Best Friends, Varsity Blondes & Top Flight

Jericho and Pillman Jr. lockup to start the match in a cool sight as Jericho was friends with Pillman’s father. Jericho slaps Pillman and then tries to throw him into the corner but Pillman leaps to the top and hits a Flying Cross Body followed by a dropkick sending Jericho to the floor. Pillman hits a Slingshot Tornillo onto Jericho on the floor.

Back in the ring, Pillman tags Garrison and then slingshots Garrison into a Guillotine Leg Drop on Jericho for a nearfall. Inner Circle jump Garrison in their corner as Sammy tags in. Garrison Hip Tosses Sammy and tags in Dante Martin. Martin and Sammy break out some high paced offense but Sammy catches Dante with a dropkick to ground him.

Guevara stomps Martin into the mat but Martin comes back with a Leg Lariat for a nearfall,. Martin connects with a Running Elbow and then leaps over Sammy as Darius tags in. Darius rolls Sammy up and then kicks him in the face for a nearfall until Ortiz breaks it up. Dante tags back in but eats a huge uppercut from Guevara. Santana and Trent tag in and they start shoving each other until all 12 men jump in and shit gets real! The babyfaces clean house and then do a 6-man hug in the middle of the ring.

Ortiz trips Trent as things settle back in allowing Santana to attack Trent and hit the Three Amigos that Ortiz comes in on the third one to do a double suplex on. MJF tags in hits a Ghetto Stomp onto the arm of Trent as PNP held it out. Trent rolls to the floor where the Inner Circle jumps him.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Guevara goes for a Shooting Star Press but Trentylocks moves and hits the Bicycle Knee. Ortiz tags Sammy but runs right into a Suplex. Darius tags in and hits a series of kicks and then a Standing Spanish Fly! Darius goes for a Tope but eats a boot from Santana only for Dante to come out of nowhere with a Somersault Plancha onto PNP!

In the ring, Chuck tags in and Best Friends hit the Half-and-Half/Sole Food. Garrison tags in and sends a bunch of guys to the floor before connecting with a Roaring Elbow on Ortiz. Jericho hits Garrison with a bat from the outside and Hager tags in and Lariats Garrison. Hager hits the F10, which is Wardlow’s move, and tags MJF. MJF covers Garrison for the pin.

Winners: Inner Circle via pinfall (F10)

Top Flight chases off Jericho and Hager with dropkicks as they were continuing to beat Garrison down after the match.

Backstage, Thunder Rosa says that Britt Baker put her nose into her business and that is why she is going to beat her ass. Rosa is pissed that Baker said she doesn’t belong in AEW. Rebel comes up and talks trash to her as Baker attacks her from behind and screams at her that she doesn’t belong in AEW. They pour water on Rosa’s face to rub her facepaint off.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

SCU (4-4) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) (7-1)

This is The Acclaimed in-ring Dynamite debut. Max Caster freestyles on the way to the ring but Kazarian responds and actually drops a line about them being equivalent to the “Men On A Mission” team and being “complete shit” like 2020.

Kazarian and Bowens start the match off and Kaz schools the youngster with some mat wrestling. Daniels tags in and goes for Angels Wings but Bowens backdrops him. Caster tags in and trades punches with Daniels. Daniels hits a Missile Dropkick off the middle rope and then tags Kazarian. Daniels this a Slingshot Elbow Drop and then Kaz hits a Slingshot Leg Drop for a nearfall. Bowens tags in and slams Kaz into the ring post.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Kaz hits a Slingshot DDT on Caster and both men tag out. Daniels hits a clothesline and then backdrops a charging Caster. Daniels hits an STO on Caster and then a Blue Thunder Bomb for Bowens for two. Daniels goes for Angels Wings again but Bowens blocks it only to eat a Urange Suplex. Daniels calls for the BME but Caster attacks him from behind.

Kaz clotheslines Caster to the floor while Bowens lifts Daniels up to the top. Bowens goes for a Superplex but Daniels shoves him off. Caster grabs Daniels leg but Kaz pulls him off. Daniels hits a Flying Cross Body on Bowens for another close two. Daniels lines up for a dive but Bowens hits him from behind only for Daniels to roll him up for a nearfall. As Bowens kicks out Caster hits Daniels with his Bluetooth speaker and Bowens hits a Sidewalk Slam for the pin.

Winners: The Acclaimed via pinfall (Sidewalk Slam)

Caster cuts a freestyle on the Young Bucks after the match and calls them “cucks.” Bowens says that The Acclaimed have arrived and challenges the Bucks to defend their titles against them next week. The Bucks seemingly agree.

Top Flight challenges Jericho and Hager to a match next week.

Ivelisse & Diamante (8-1) vs. Big Swole (14-4) & Serena Deeb (4-2)

Both teams go back and forth in the early going with quick tags. Swole hits a big Backbreaker on Diamante and then a big backdrop. Diamante hangs Swole up in the ropes and then hits a Hanging German Suplex for two.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Deeb locks Ivelisse up in an Indian Death Lock and catches Ivelisse with a Northern Lights Suplex at the same time. Deeb catches Diamante with a Dragonscrew Leg Whip and then hits a Hanging Neckbreaker on Ivelisse in the ropes. Deeb hits a Gutbuster Dean Malenko-style before putting Ivelisse in the Figure Four. Ivelisse rolls to the ropes and tags Diamante.

Diamante and Ivelisse sandwich Deeb with Double Knees and then a Double Sidewalk Slam for a nearfall. Diamante goes for a Suplex but Deeb counters with a Neckbreaker and tags Swole. Swole goes for Dirty Dancing but Diamante moves and Ivelisse grabs her hair from behind. Diamante goes for her Sliced Bread but Swole blocks it and headbutts Diamante. Swole hits a Tiger Bomb and locks Diamante in the Clearwater Cloverleaf. Deeb runs in and keeps Ivelisse from interfering as Diamante taps.

Winners: Swole & Deeb via submission (Clearwater Cloverleaf)

Nyla Rose runs out and attacks Deeb and Swole but Velvet Rose runs out with a chair and cleans house.

A video package highlighting The Jurassic Express plays. They will face members of the Dark Order next week.

FTR interrupts the announcers and are pissed about them highlighting “the sideshow tag team” and says they are the best team in the world. They rant about Jurassic Express being in their crosshairs now.

No DQ Match
“Bad Boy” Joey Janela (4-5) w/Sonny Kiss vs. “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega

Janela and Omega were supposed to meet in the World Title Eliminator Tournament but Janela was forced to pull out due to COVID-19 concerns. If he wins this match he will receive a World Title shot. Janela brains Omega with a trashcan as he enters and then hits a Tope Suicda on the floor. Don Callis tries to kick Schiavone out from the announce booth but he tells Callis to kiss his ass.

Janela sits Omega in a chair and tries for a move only for Janela to move and then Leg Lariat him onto the chair. Omega dropkicks Janela into a chair and then hits a Tope Suicida. Callis grabs a microphone and starts doing commentary at ringside anyway.

Omega hits Janela with a cookie sheet and then Omega starts cutting a promo mid match. Omega tells the referee to hold the mic for him as he goes to the top rope with a garbage can and hits a Moonsault off the top with it for a nearfall. Omega gets pissed at Janela for kicking out and taunts him with the microphone. Omega holds the mic up to Janela as he chops him.

Omega puts the trashcan on Omega and then hits a Springboard Ghetto Stomp onto it. Omega goes for the One Winged Angel but Janela counters with a Poison Rana! Janela and Kiss pull out a table and set it up at ringside. Janela lays Omega out on the table and then dives off the top rope with a Guillotine Leg Drop through the table!

Janela drags Omega back in the ring and goes for a Moonsault off the top but Omega moves and destroys him with a V-Trigger! Omega hits a second V-Trigger and then One Winged Angel for the pin!

Winner: Omega via pinfall (One Winged Angel)

Callis says that they continue to silence all the haters but then PAC walks out with the Lucha Brothers. PAC says that he and Omega have unfinished business but he isn’t here to be selfish because they are here to address some injustice. PAC points to Fenix and reminds Omega that they were supposed to face in the tournament, as well. PAC asks how Omega could call himself the rightful champion since Fenix never lost in that tournament.

Callis tells PAC that wrestlers can’t tell the World Champion what to do but PAC says that Tony Khan can and he has already sanctioned it for Dec. 30. Omega defends the title against Fenix! Omega freaks out as we go off the air.
