Bret Hart + Shawn Michaels: Bret Hart has aged. Ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced him with a big pop. Bret came out and talked about wanting to return to WWE before but Vince stopped it. ”Welcome back” chants erupted. He says it’s been 12 years since he was in a WWE ring and called out Shawn Michaels. Shawn put over Bret. Shawn said he’s ready to move on also and wants to bury the hatchet. Bret said they’ve both had great careers and now is the perfect time for them to be friends. Bret offered his hand to Michaels and the crowd boos a bit. They shake hands. Shawn goes to leave the ring, but stopped. Shawn turned and walked back over and hugged Bret. HBK’s music hits as he made his way to the back. Bret said he has one more thing to do and called out Vince McMahon. Bret waited on Vince but he didn’t appear. The crowd started to boo.

Josh Mathews & Vince McMahon: Vince McMahon said he did not hear Bret’s proposal as he was in a meeting but will call him out later – on his terms.
DIVAS TITLE TOURNAMENT 1ST ROUND MATCH
Maryse Ouellet defeated Brie Bella: The announcers said Melina vacated the Diva’s title as she was injured at a house show. In the match, Brie tried to switch with Nicole, but Maryse laughed and hit the French kiss for the win. After the match, the Miz came out to a new theme song. The Miz says if Maryse wins this tournament, he just might call her back.. The Miz headed to ringside to join in on commentary for the next match.
4-WAY #1 CONTENDERS MATCH FOR THE U.S. TITLE
Montel Vontavious Porter defeated Jack Swagger and Mark Henry and Carlito Colon: WWE United States champion Mike Mizanin joined Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler on commentary for the match. MVP pinned Jack Swagger with the playmaker to earn a shot at the Miz’s WWE United States title..

Chris Jericho & The Big Show: Chris Jericho said he had a plan to make with Bret Hart.

Bret Hart & Chris Jericho: Chris Jericho spoke to Bret Hart about training in Hart Dungeon. Jericho wanted Bret to be the special referee for tonight’s Tag Team title match against DX, and suggested that Bret could get revenge by screwing Shawn Michaels. Bret rejected the idea saying he just wanted peace and told Chris Jericho to win the match fairly. Chris Jericho walked away very angry.

Hornswoggle & DX (Triple H & Shawn Michaels) + Santino Marella: A heavy sell for WWE’s new action figures. After 6 minutes of pure boredom Hornswoggle attacked Santino, who was dressed like Chris Jericho.
UNIFIED TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
DX (Triple H & Shawn Michaels w/Hornswoggle) defeated JeriShow (Chris Jericho & The Big Show) to retain the Unified Tag Team titles titles: Great end to end match with a interference from Hornswoggle. After the match, DX told Chris Jericho he is off RAW forever and he took the walk of shame up the ramp. The fans started to chanted “Na Na Goodbye” as Jericho pouted his way backstage..

Randy Orton + Vince McMahon + Legacy (Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes): Randy Orton knocked on Vince McMahon’s door and wanted to make a deal with Vince that if he kicked Bret Hart in the skull, could he be number 30 for the upcoming Royal Rumble Match. Vince said Orton was like Hart in which he destroyed the company and walked out. Vince told Orton not to confront him again. When Orton left the locker-room he met Legacy, who told him that if he loses to Kofi Kingston tonight they would kick him out of Legacy and beat him up (this feud is heating up and what a great segment)..
NON (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP) TITLE MATCH
WWE Champion Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne: Before the match, Sheamus said if Evan Bourne won he would get a shot at the Royal Rumble. Squash Match.

Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston: Legacy members Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes took a seat at ringside to watch Randy Orton. This match was not as good as they had before, as Kofi’s push has been downturned since Madison Square Garden.
IN-RING SEGMENT
Vince McMahon + Bret “Hitman” Hart: Vince McMahon said there was no real reason for him to call Bret Hart out tonight, because Bret and Shawn have already put the Montreal situation to rest tonight. Vince agreed that the Montreal incident is basically over. Bret Hart made his way to the ring and took his coat off. Vince said the fans probably want to see Bret put him in the Sharpshooter. Vince says he doesn’t want to provoke Bret tonight and wanted Bret to be the bigger man. Vince wanted to get some things off his chest and said he really thinks Bret screwed Bret. Vince talked about Montreal for a bit, then talked about Bret disrespecting him when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Vince apologized. Bret said he had a lot to say to Vince, but he came here tonight to find closure to the whole situation, and he was half-way there. Bret said Vince wanted it to be laid to rest as bad as he does. Vince said he thought he was going to come out here and kick Bret in the gut and laugh it off. Vince talked about Bret saying he (Vince) was like a father to him. Vince nominated Stu Hart into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. Bret said he appreciates that and said it will mean a lot to the Hart family and friends. Vince thanked Bret for all his contributions to WWE. Vince thanked Bret for being the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Vince raised Bret’s arm and they pose for the fans. Suddenly, Vince kicked Bret in the crotch and laid him out..
