IN THE RING
Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon) & Booker T + LAX (Homicide & Hernandez) & Hector Guerrero & Salinas + Christian Cage & Rhino + A.J. Styles: Brother Ray said Team 3-D and Booker T are the bad guys and they like it like that. They called for something to be lowered from the ceiling and it was a large poster of A.J. Styles. It was a blow up of A.J.’s trading card, which Ray claimed would be a collectors item soon. Ray called Styles a home-wrecker and an adulterer. Ray claimed that Styles slept with Karen Angle while Kurt’s children slept in the next room. Booker T was handed the mic and he said that he was “royalty.” Booker T said he was promised a lot by TNA, but he found a locker room full of rodents! Booker T said he would make everybody in the King of the Mountain match bow down to him – especially Samoa Joe. Brother Devon got the microphone and addressed Hector Guerrero, but was immediately interrupted by Guerrero, Salinas, and LAX (Homicide & Hernandez). Guerrero said they would settle their issue with Team 3-D at Slammiversary. Christian Cage & Rhino interrupted and asked what Booker T has been smoking. Cage predicted that he and Rhino would both qualify for the King of the Mountain tonight. Samoa Joe came out and stood in the audience and address everybody in the iMPACT Zone. Joe cut a promo on Booker T and called him a Punk-ass Cheap-shot bitch. Joe offered to join forces with Cage, Rhino, and LAX to beat up Team 3-D & Booker T for what they did to A.J. Styles last week. The good guys charged the ring and the heels quickly retreated. A.J. Styles showed up swinging a steel chair getting a measure of revenge on Booker T & Team 3-D.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Jeremy Borash & Karen Angle: Jeremy Borash asked Karen Angle about being invited to talk to A.J. Styles in the six-sided ring tonight. Karen said she didn’t know what it was about, but she was going to go out and listen to what he has to say.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
“Lauren” & “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal & So-Cal Val & Sonjay Dutt & Ace Young (former American Idol finalist): Jay and Val were excited about former American Idol Season 5 finalist Ace Young performing at their wedding. Dutt got an attitude with Jay & Val and walked off. Ace Young said he had a huge surprise for Jay & Val tonight.

TAG TEAM MATCH
“Black Machismo” Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt (w/So-Cal Val & Ace Young) defeated The Rock & Rave Infection (Lance Hoyt & Jimmy Rave w/Christy Hemme): After the match, Jay Lethal called Sonjay Dutt back into the ring for a talk. Lethal said he asked Dutt to be his best man a week ago and demanded that he accept the offer right now. Lethal held out his hand and Dutt shook it and cealed the deal. Ace Young said he was going to throw a bachelor party next week, but then revealed his surprise – a music video for his song “Addicted” featuring So-Cal Val screwing Jay Lethal… well not really but close to it! Valerie has never looked hotter.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
“Lauren” & The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Angelina Love): Angelina & Velvet claimed that Lauren disrespect them week after week, so they put a paper bag over her head and pushed her out of camera range. Both of the Beautiful People cut promos on Roxxi Laveau and then Velvet kissed the camera lense leaving a nasty lip stain.

KNOCKOUTS GRUDGE MATCH
Angelina Love w/Velvet Sky defeated Roxxi Laveau: Velvet Sky blinded Roxxi Laveau by spraying her eyes with hair spray to help Angelina score the victory. The Beautiful People double-teamed Roxxi Laveau until Gail Kim (on crutches in a knee brace) came down to make the save. Actually ODB grabbed one of Kim’s crutches and used it to chase the Beautiful People away from their prey. Editor’s Notes: Angelina Love was shaken up when she hit her head on the mat taking a crossbody from Roxxi.

BACKSTAGE INTRVIEW
Jeremy Borash & Jim Cornette: Jim Cornette scolded Jeremy Borash for allowing Amazing Kong to beat up a fan last week. Cornette said he wasn’t going to take the fall for this one and Borash would be the one to take the fall. Borash showed Cornette the ratings from last week, and the fans loved the segment, so Cornette changed his tune and said “make sure the clueless putsies sign the release.” Booker T & Team 3-D burst and Booker complained about how he was being treated. Cornette said if Booker T doesn’t like it he can get changed in his car. Booker wanted to take over Cornette’s office and use it for his dressing room. Cornette said he was going to the ring and suggested Booker & Team 3-D were gone when he came back.

IN THE RING

Kevin Nash interrupted and pointed out that Cornette has lost control of his office and is about to lose control of his company. Nash asked if Cornette wanted his help. Cornette caught on and said Nash must want something in return. Nash said he would protect Cornette if he made him the special enforcer for the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary. Cornette asked why Nash wanted to be special enforcer, and Nash said the people should pay to find out the answer. Cornette agreed, and politely asked Nash to clear out his office.

VIGNETTE
Abyss: The doctors have set a release date for ten days. Wow, what a coincidence, the same day as Slammiversary!

$25,000 OPEN CHALLENGE
Amazing Kong w/Raesha Saed defeated Leva Bates (a fan): For the second week in a row, they planted a trained wrestler in the audience and portrayed her as a fan – but I didn’t recognize her as anybody significant (Edit: she was an unknown Team 3-D trainee named “Mimi”).  One of the girls in the audience volunteering looked like former WWE developmental diva Shantell Taylor. Kong demolished Leva Bates and finished her off with a violent Awesome-bomb!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Jeremy Borash & Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon) & Booker T + Kevin Nash: Kevin Nash entered Jim Cornette’s office and asked Team 3-D & Booker T to leave. The heels refused to leave, until Kevin Nash pulled out a baseball bat and they went running out the door!

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN QUALIFYING MATCH
Christian Cage defeated Tomko: This could have been an intense high profile grudge match on Pay-Per-View, but instead TNA is giving it away on free television.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Jeremy Borash & A.J. Styles & Karen Angle: Jeremy Borash asked A.J. Styles what he had to say to Karen Angle. Styles said Borash would have to wait and hear it with the rest of the World. As A.J. & Karen headed towards the ring, Kurt Angle was shown entering the building!

IN THE RING
Karen Angle + Kurt Angle: Karen Angle went to the ring first, because, in the words of A.J. Styles “Ladies first.” A.J. Styles’ music played but A.J. did not come out. Cameras found Styles backstage getting the crap beat out of him by Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle went to the ring and verbally assaulted his wife, demanding that she tell the world that she cheated on him with A.J. Styles like a prostitute. Kurt was about to call Karen a whore buts he slapped him across the face. Kurt took off his jacket and A.J. Styles sprinted to the ring and attacked Kurt Angle. Team 3-D, Booker T and Tomkio ran to the ring to issue a beat-down on A.J. Styles (dejavu from last week). The battle weary Christian Cage came out alone but he was beaten up by the heels too. The heels dismantled Styles and Cage until the show went off the air (where the hell was Samoa Joe, Rhino and LAX?)
