The following took place on the 10/13 episode of TNA IMPACT Wrestling on POP TV:
* New TNA Champion Eddie Edwards kicked off the show, thanking the fans for their support in his win of the TNA Title. Lashley then came out and laid waste to Edwards before MOOSE and EC3 ran in to make the save. By virtue of this, TNA President Billy Corgan took away Lashley’s automatic rematch as punishment and said that Lashley would earn his title rematch, facing the winner of tonight’s MOOSE vs. EC3 main event next week.
* TNA Grand Champion Aron Rex retained his title over Jessie Godderz in Round 3 with the Revealtor running rolling elbow after attacking Godderz when he came back into the ring and Rex opened the ropes for Godderz to get back in, almost a heelish way of doing things. Rex had lost both of the first two rounds to Godderz on points.
* TNA Tag Team Champions The Broken Hardys talked about their future plans as champions, but were attacked and laid out by The Tribunal, who seemed to claim as the next contenders to the Hardys’ titles.
* Cody Rhodes made his TNA in-ring debut, defeating Mike Bennett by pinfall with Cross Rhodes.
* TNA X-Division Champion DJ Z continued his reign as champion, retaining his title over Marshe Rockett with the ZDT.
* After it was announced that all of Maria’s help in Mike Bennett, Allie, Sienna and Laurel Van Ness were banned from ringside for her Knockouts Title rematch, Maria had to go it alone and lost again to Knockouts Champion Gail Kim, who retained her title over Maria in a No DQ Match with a trash can lid assisted Eat Defeat. By virtue of the win, Maria also lost her power as the head of the Knockouts Division.
* EC3 and Eli Drake continue their spat, with Drake constantly rejecting EC3’s challenges to a match for Drake’s Bound for Gold TNA Title shot.
* We saw the first vignette for the new D.C.C. faction that interrupted the feed of the show right before the main event.
* We saw a backstage segment where TNA Champion Eddie Edwards and Cody Rhodes agreed upon a future match for the TNA Title.
* MOOSE def. EC3 in the main event with the Gamebreaker Lariat, thus earning the chance to face Lashley next week in the main event where the winner will earn a TNA Title shot. Lashley and MOOSE stared each other down to close the show.
