Z&E def. Drago and Aerostar to retain the Impact Tag Team Championships

The night began with Z&E defending the World Tag Team Titles against the duo from Lucha Underground, Drago and Aerostar. Z&E solidified themselves as the top team in all of IMPACT Wrestling with a victory over the very talented tandem from LU.

The Mystery Attacker has everyone on IMPACT Wrestling on edge. We saw Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt in the middle of a conversation and it ended with Petey storming off and leaving IMPACT Wrestling.

LAX saw the return of Diamante to the Clubhouse. The Knockout has been sidelined with an injury and she was happily reunited with Santana, Ortiz and King. Would Santana and Ortiz be able to secure a victory against the Cult of Lee?

LAX def. Cult of Lee

With that victory, things seem all good in the world of LAX. Winning cures all problems and King lead Santana and Ortiz to a win. As Don Callis said on IMPACT, this is a results business and LAX winning is a step in the right direction.

Eli Drake’s Fact of Life

The Return of the Fact of Life with Eli Drake was a feature this week on IMPACT. Eli also brought back a Top 5 List and wanted to name the biggest “dummies” in all of IMPACT. Eli named the fans, IMPACT Management, Austin Aries and coming in at Number 1 was none other than Moose. This was a calculated plan by Eli Drake. Next week he will face Moose in a match that will determine the Number 1 Contender for the World Title! The winner of this match will face Austin Aries at Slammiversary on July 22nd in Toronto. Eli knew naming Moose would draw out the former NFL Offensive Lineman. Eli attacked Moose and the battle is on for next week.

Brian Cage def. Rahit Roju

Also in action on IMPACT this week was Brian Cage, who next week challenges Matt Sydal for the X-Division Championship. Would Brian Cage roll on and what would that mean for the future?

The new World Champion Austin Aries took a much needed vacation and joined us via Skype for an interview. Aries spoke about winning the World Title and more.

Tessa Blanchard took out Kiera Hogan in the locker room area and after the battle, it has been made official that next week on IMPACT we will see Tessa vs. Kiera in a No Disqualification Match.

Eddie Edwards vs. Sami Callihan in an Unsanctioned Match ended in a No Contest

We headed to the woods for the unsanctioned fight between Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan. This was uncomfortable to say the least as Eddie and Sami battled in the dark, we saw Dave and Jake Crist in trees and in the end, Eddie didn’t get what he wanted. Sami was down, but Alisha Edwards and Tommy Dreamer showed up and Sami was able to escape.
