IN THE RING
The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle & Sting & Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner & Booker T w/Sharmell): Kevin Nash started out saying he’s been around the block during his career, and has done a lot of business in the ring. Nash said most of his work was done behind the curtain. Nash said if he wanted somebody gone, they would be gone. Nash took pride in stirring the sh*t. Nash said a year ago Samoa Joe respected his friend Scott Hall. Nash said Samoa Joe was the first guy he’s ever wanted gone, who didn’t go. Nash said Joe came back with some face paint last week, and guesses that makes him some kind of tough guy. Nash threatened to “go old school” and kick Joe’s ass. Nash said Joe has been casted and he will play the part of his BITCH. Kurt Angle and Sting looked at each other, as Angle said the fans wanted to know what was going to happen at Against All Odds. Angle said maybe they will get a clearer picture later tonight when they face Team 3-D. Angle said when the Mafia was formed they made a pact that it was all about getting respect in the business. Angle promised that the TNA World Heavyweight title will remain in the Main Event Mafia, regardless of what he has to do. Angle finished by telling Sting “I’ll see you tonight, partner!”
Lauren Brooke & Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon): Brother Devon said they find the Main Event Mafia hilarious. Devon put Angle over as one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the business. Devon added that they would be ready for anything, and everything, at Against All Odds. Brother Ray said that Kurt was taking the Mafia stuff a little too seriously. Ray made a few references to the Godfather and said that Kurt fed Sting to the wolves last week. Ray said this week Kurt wants to hide behind Sting. Ray said they have been around Kurt long enough to know how his little brain works. Ray said Kurt is getting some of his own medicine tonight.
ROUGH CUTZ: Kiyoshi (Akira Raijin) from Japan. They showed clips from Border City Wrestling, and All-Japan Pro Wrestling, as well as comments from the legendary Great Muta endorsing his student..
Lauren Brooke & Consequences Creed & “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal: Consequences Creed said the Motor City Machine Guns have shown there true colors and they are no better than the Main Event Mafia. The Black Machismo talked about bring the TNA World Tag Team titles back home to Lethal Consequences..
TAG TEAM MATCH
Jay Lethal & Eric Young (sub for Consequences Creed) defeated The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin): Before the match, Beer Money Inc. attacked Jay Lethal & Consequences Creed from behind and brawled with them for several minutes while the Motor City Machine Guns stood in the ring watching. Mike Tenay & Don West said that the Machine Guns won’t do anything unless it has something to do with themselves. Beer Money Inc. smashed the arm of Consequences Creed with a chair against the ring post! Jay Lethal was forced to wrestle the Motor City Machine Guns by himself. Eventually Eric Young ran out and helped Jay Lethal defeat the Motor City Machine Guns!
IN THE RING: After the match, Alex Shelley said he wanted Eric Young to be the next challenger to his X-Division title at Against All Odds. Eric Young said if Shelley promises that his life partner (Chris Sabin) stays away from the ring he would accept the challenge!
Jeremy Borash & Jim Cornette + The Kongtourage (Awesome Kong & Raisha Saed & Rhaka Khan & Sojourner Bolt) + Booker T & Sharmell: Jim Cornette informed Awesome Kong that the rest of the Kongtourage was banned from ringside at Against All Odds during the Kong vs. ODB match. Raisha Saed tried to assert her authority, but Cornette told them all to get lost. I thought Tracy Brooks was handling all the Knockout’s stuff so Cornette didn’t have to deal with the Knockout business? Booker T & Sharmell came in next with Booker (wearing a referee shirt) offering to referee the Sheik-Sewell match tonight. Cornette flat out refused and said Booker T will have his hands full with Shane Sewell at Against All Odds.
Lauren Brooke & The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky w/Cute Kip James): The Beautiful People were aggressively pissed off at being humiliated by Roxxi, Taylor Wilde, and the fake Sarah Palin. Angelina Love said that Taylor & Roxxi will not have the opportunity to fight back tonight. Angelina said they weren’t going to wrestle tonight, it’s going to be a “damn tragedy.” Velvet Sky said that the fun and games are over, and they will do things to Taylor & Roxxi that puts the slaughterhouse to shame! Velvet said they would take back their throne, their dignity and their respect!
Shane Sewell vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir ended in a No Contest when Booker T interfered: The referee got knocked out so Booker T (wearing a referee shirt) came down to ringside, despite efforts from Rudy Charles & Earl Hebner to stop him. Booker T entered the ring and played the part of referee while obviously encouraging the Sheik. Shane Sewell mounted a come-back, but Booker T refused to count the pinfall! Booker kicked Sewell in the head and started to beat him up until TNA security showed up to break up the fight.
Jeremy Borash & TNA World Heavyweight champion Sting: Sting said he has no idea where he stands with Kurt Angle, and told everybody to watch the PPV to find out. Sting said the TNA World Heavyweight title represents honor, dignity, pride, and respect. Sting said if anyone else gets their hands on it it will be tarnished. Sting said as long as he was there, that ain’t gonna happen. Jeremy Borash asked if Kurt Angle would tarnish the championship, and Sting walked away…
TNA KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH
The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky w/Cute Kip) defeated Roxxi & Taylor Wilde: The Beautiful People came out and skipped their usual entrance gimmicks, looking for a fight tonight! Roxxi & Taylor Wilde came down with grins on their faces, until they were attacked by Angelina & Velvet on the floor! After a few minutes, Velvet tripped Roxxi head-first into the metal ring steps. They pushed Taylor Wilde into the ring and the match officially started, but Roxxi was out cold on the floor. The Beautiful People took turns beating up Taylor in the ring. Roxxi eventually made it up to the ring apron, but was only about half conscious. Roxxi was hot tagged, and it didn’t take long for the Beautiful People to overtake her and score the 1-2-3 to gain a measure of revenge. After the match, they continued the assault and gave Roxxi & Taylor the infamous paper bag treatment! A barefoot Daffney (called “Governor Palin” by Mike Tenay) hit the ring and cleared the ring for the save!

Matt Morgan defeated Rhino by DQ after Abyss interfered: Eventually Matt Morgan brough a chair into the ring and threatened to hit Rhino with a Hellavator on the chair. Abyss hit the ring and attacked Morgan, causing the disqualification. Abyss and Morgan brawled until Abyss poured a bag of thumb tacks in the middle of the ring. Morgan ducked out of the ring and retreated backstage!
IN THE RING
Abyss: During the commercial break, Abyss threw chairs, kendo sticks, and more weapons into the six sided ring. Abyss also poured a bag of broken glass on top of the thumb tacks. Abyss grabbed the microphone and introduced his new best friend, “his name is not Chris… his name is ABYSS!” Abyss cut a long promo on Matt Morgan, and wanted to demonstrate what he was going to do at Against All Odds. Abyss got down on his kneeds and started punching the ground until his knuckles were bloodied and filled with tacks! Lauren Brooke came down and said it was going to be fine, and said she called his therapist. I can’t wait til the “therapist” is introduced as a weekly character on iMPACT. NOT.
Jeremy Borash & Mick Foley: Mick Foley said tonight they will find out if Kurt Angle & Sting can begin to co-exist in the ring. Borash asked how they will be able to co-exist at Against All Odds, and Foley said that they would all have to watch together. Foley said that Jeff Jarrett would return to iMPACT next week!
FEATURED CONTEST (MAIN EVENT)
Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon) defeated The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle & Sting) by DQ: Sting was wearing a t-shirt for this match. Kurt Angle was determined to do it all himself, and refused to tag Sting into the ring. Sting said he thought they were family, and Angle said “I don’t need your help, Sting!” Scott Steiner came down to try to play peace-maker for the Main Event Mafia. Team 3-D hit Kurt Angle with the Doomsday Device (tribute to the Road Warriors). Booker T & Scott Steiner hit the ring and attacked Team 3-D. Sting just stood there watching from ringside holding his bat. Team 3-D mounted a come-back and cleared the ring of the Main Event Mafia. Angle and Sting started yelling and shoving each other as Team 3-D laughed at them from inside the ring..
