Cornette said it was a new day in TNA and everyone will be given the same opportunity. Kurt Angle came out with the rest of the Main Event Mafia, except for Sting. Angle said there was no opportunity for anybody tonight. Angle said he would be one of the final two, and gain the advantage going into Lockdown. Angle said he would pick Booker, Kevin (Nash), and Scotty (Steiner) to be on his team. Angle promised to dominate TNA throughout 2009 and 2010, and there’s nothing anybody can do about it. Jeff Jarrett came out and said he would be one of the twenty competitors tonight and his only mission is to make sure Angle is NOT one of the team captains. Gee, you can see where this is going from a mile away!

Angle hit an Angle-slam, but Joe no-sold it. Joe hit Angle with the Muscle-buster and scored the 1-2-3 to win the match! They are rekindling the Joe-Angle saga – AWESOME!
