Theodore Long & Tiffany + ECW champion Matt Hardy + Mark Henry w/Tony Atlas + John Morrison & Mike Mizanin: Theodore Long allowed Tiffany to do the introductions. Tiffany is hot as a spice factory but she sounds so fake…. she needs to be used in a different roll as soon as possible! Theodore Long said he wanted to bring the two competitors together to get anything off of their minds before their match on Sunday. Mark Henry claimed Theodore Long wished her was still ECW champion because Matt Hardy will embarass ECW during the Champion of Champions match on SmackDown!. Mark said nobody defeated him for the ECW title but on Sunday he will right that wrong. Matt said it will be a tough week, but he loves the challenge. Matt said his title means he represents the ECW wrestlers and the ECW fans. Matt said it’s not about feeding your ego like Mark Henry did by getting a Hall of Famer to carry his bags. Mark wanted to start No Mercy tonight, but Theodore Long said this was not the place. John Morrison & Mike Mizanin showed up and talked about wrestling each other last week and giving Theodore Long the match of the year. Morrison said they wanted Ricky Ortiz & Evan Bourne in the ring tonight – then they started chanting “Nerds! Nerds! Nerds! Nerds!” Long booked Miz, Morrison, and Mark Henry against Matt Hardy, Ricky Ortiz, and Evan Bourne.
SINGLES MATCH
“The All-American American” Jack Swagger defeated Lenny Lane: Holy crap! Does anybody remember Lenny Lane from WCW? Of Lenny & Lodi fame. He was actually a jobber version of Chris Jericho back then, but now he looks like an old man. Jack Swagger ate Lenny Lane alive! After the match, Swagger assaulted Lane some more until Tommy Dreamer ran down to make the save!
SINGLES MATCH
Mike Knox defeated “The Heart & Soul of ECW” Tommy Dreamer: After the match, Jack Swagger returned to the ring and gave Tommy Dreamer a Gut-wrench Power-bomb!
SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Mark Henry & John Morrison & Mike Mizanin defeated Matt Hardy & Evan Bourne & Ricky Ortiz: Mark Henry stayed out of most of the match, but came in late and destroyed Evan Bourne on his way to an easy victory.
