John Morrison & Mike Mizanin + Fit Finlay & Hornswoggle + The Boogeyman: John Morrison said he was hired to help Oprah lose the weight she gained over the Holidays, and then the Miz teased that he and Morrison bought everybody new cars!!! Not really. Miz & Morrison bragged about their Slammy and World Tag Team gold, and said 2009 would be much of the same. They both gave their ridiculous New Year’s Resolutions, with both of them vowing to win the Royal Rumble. They argued over who would win the Rumble. They then started making jokes about other WWE Superstar resolutions, for the sake of comedy. Morrison picked on Hornswoggle until Hornswoggle came to the ring with Finlay trying to hold him back. Finlay punched Morrison and the MIz attacked Finlay. Miz & Morrison double-teamed Finlay while Hornswoggle jumped out and crawled under the ring. The Miz & Morrison went after him but they found the Boogeyman under the ring! Miz & Morrison quickly retreated and ran away, taunting Hornswoggle from the top of the stage.
ECW WORLD TITLE MATCH
Mark Henry w/Tony Atlas defeated ECW World champion Matt Hardyby DQ: The match ended in a disqualification after interference from #1 Contender Jack Swagger. Mark Henry was not happy that Swagger ruined his opportunity to recapture the ECW World title!
VIGNETTE: Kizarny is coming to SmackDown!..
SINGLES MATCH
DJ Gabriel w/Alicia Fox defeated “The Ripper” Paul Burchill w/Katie Lea: A couple of British guys in an ECW ring. Paul Burchill & Katie Lea are now members of the ECW roster. I guess that means they will waste Katie Lea’s talents throughout 2009 as well.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The Boogeyman + Hornswoggle: The Boogeyman was shown singing “Rockabye baby, on the tree top” to a nightcrawler when Hornswoggle came in and ran in circles around the Boogeyman. Boogeyman started singing “La La lala laala” like the Smurfs.
NON (WORLD TAG TEAM) TITLE NO-DQ MATCH
World Tag Team champions John Morrison & Mike Mizanin defeated The Boogeyman & Fit Finlay w/Hornswoggle: You’re not supposed to remember that Finlay and Boogeyman feuded for the first six months of 2007, in a storyline which included a Little Boogeyman feuding with Hornswoggle. After the match, the Boogeyman attacked the Miz and Finlay planted Morrison with his finisher. When the dust cleared, Finlay brought three kids into the ring to dance with Hornswoggle.
