Tommy Dreamer: Tommy Dreamer came out to the ring wearing a suit and tie. Dreamer said there was a lot of buzz about the title match later tonight, but he had something important to say. Dreamer gave an emotional speech about the fans supporting him. Dreamer said people say he is the heart and soul of ECW, because those three letters mean the world to him. Dreamer said everything he has is all because of ECW. Dreamer said he would do it all again, and he wouldn’t change a thing. Dreamer said he looks himself in the mirror and doesn’t see the man he used to be. Dreamer said he didn’t feel like he had what it took to compete in ECW any more. Dreamer said his WWE contract expires on June 6th. Dreamer said that gives him five months to prove that he belongs in ECW. Dreamer said the only way he can do that is to become ECW champion before his contract expires. Dreamer started to cry, and said if he doesn’t then he was leaving ECW. Dreamer said it was the hardest decision he has ever had to make, but he had to look at himself in the mirror with pride and this was the only way that he could do that.
