IN THE RING
William Regal & Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson + ECW champion Christian + General Manager Tiffany: Williams Regal said they were the reason ECW would never be the same again. Regal said for weeks Kozlov and Jackson played a game of one-upsmanship, which lead the fans to believe they were on a collision course. The crowd chanted “you suck,” and Regal patiently waited. Regal said the people lack the creativity, the imagination, and the influence that he has to shock the entire world and unite these two incredible specimins. Editor’s Note: I believe I predicted several weeks ago that they would end up a tag team. Regal said the countdown on Christian’s reign as ECW champion is ZERO and the time for a new champion is NOW. ECW champion Christian came out to the stage and said the only thing that is going to be ZERO is the number of people watching the show if Regal keeps talking. Christian said he already beat Regal in an ECW championship match – a SummerSlam record breaking eight-second match. Regal said he wasn’t ready, and asked where the sportsmanship was? Christian kept repeating “eight seconds” and successfully got under Regal’s skin. Regal demanded his rematch, or they will make him regrete the day he ever won the ECW championship. Christian asked if Regal minded if he called him “Bill,” and Regal said he did mind, so of course he was referred to as “Bill” from then on. Regal got mad and said “Don’t call me Bill. Bill is a name for commoners!” And his fate was sealed. Christian said he would like to move onto other challengers, whom he hasn’t already beaten in eight seconds. General Manager Tiffany came out and said enough talking, it was time for ACTION! Tiffany said if Regal wanted a second chance at the ECW championship, he will have to earn it. Tiffany said if Regal can beat Christian tonight, he will get his rematch at Breaking Point.

GRUDGE MATCH
Sheamus vs. Goldust ended in a Double Countout: It’s great that the WWE has finally booked Goldust in a real storyline. All it took was for him to get traded to a brand that his father writes the script for. It’s just too bad he can’t be the over-the-top Goldust from 1996.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Shelton Benjamin & The Bella Twins + Zack Ryder + Tiffany: The Bella Twins begged Shelton Benjamin to sing for them, saying “we love Louie Armstrong!” I’m wondering who had the job of explaining who Louie Armstrong was to the young Bellas. Benjamin started to sing, when Zack Ryder showed up and said the Bella’s wanted an ORIGINAL. The Bella’s walked off in disgust. Benjamin and Ryder started arguing until Tiffany got between them. Tiffany told Ryder to get ready for his tag team match against Yoshi Tatsu & Tyler Reks. Ryder asked who his tag team partner would be, and Tiffany told him it would be Shelton Benjamin!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Courtney Taylor & Paul Burchill & Katie Lea: Courtney Taylor asked Paul Burchill about his match with the Hurricane this Thursday on WWE Superstars. Burchill insulted Courtney, as she is on her second week of being the backstage reported for ECW. Burchill told Courtney not to insult his intelligence by calling him the Hurricane, and corrected her by stating that it was Gregory Helms! Burchill said last week he may have underestimated him a little bit, but this week will be a different story. Burchill said this week he (Hurricane) won’t be saving anybody, especially himself.

TAG TEAM MATCH
Yoshi Tatsu & Tyler Reks defeated Shelton Benjamin & Zack Ryder: Of course, Shelton Benjamin and Zack Ryder failed to get along as a tag team – and this directly led to them losing the match. After the bell, a frustrated Benjamin planted Ryder with his Paydirt finisher.

NON (ECW CHAMPIONSHIP) TITLE MATCH
William Regal (w/Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson) defeated ECW champion Christian: The match spilled out to the floor, and Christian taunted Vladimir Kozlov by slapping him across the face! Moments later (inside the ring), Ezekiel Jackson distracted the referee, while Regal countered the Killswitch and pushed Christian into the ropes, where he was speared by Kozlov’s shoulder and knocked silly. Regal covered Christian for the 1-2-3 to earn another title shot! After the match, Kozlov and Jackson helped Regal up to his feet and raised both of his arms to celebrate…
