Ted DiBiase & Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes: Guest host, the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, came out with his son Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes. Ted Sr. had the old million dollar belt over his shoulder. Ted Sr. said Vince McMahon proved two weeks ago that every man had a price (refering to Donald Trump). Ted Sr. said tonight’s RAW is being run by the Million Dollar Man – hahahaha! Ted Sr. praised Rhodes and DiBiase. Ted Sr. said he was informed there would be no title matches on RAW before Night of Champions, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have a lot of fun. Ted Sr. booked Edge & Jericho vs. Rhodes & DiBiase at Night of Champions. Ted Sr. asked Rhodes how he felt when Mark Henry beat Randy Orton last week. Rhodes said it made him mad. Ted Sr. said Mark Henry needs to be punished, so he booked him in a match with Rhodes! Ted Sr. also booked Ted Jr. in a match with WWE champion Randy Orton! Ted Sr. said Orton was just using Junior. Ted Jr. protested, but Ted Sr. said he would not only face Orton tonight, but he would BEAT him!
NON (UNIFIED TAG TEAM) TITLE MATCH
Unified Tag Team champions Edge & Chris Jericho defeated The Colon Brothers (Carlito & Primo): After the match, Carlito snapped and beat the crap out of Primo. Carlito tossed Primo over the announce table and walked off pouting..
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Randy Orton confronted Ted DiBiase Jr. and asked what they were going to do about it. DiBiase Jr. said they couldn’t do anything about it. Orton said nothing can come of them wrestling, because he is the WWE champion. DiBiase stood up for himself and said his father was better than Orton’s father. DiBiase said he would beat Orton tonight!
DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
Mickie James & Gail Kim defeated Maryse Ouellet & Alicia Fox: This would be Gail Kim & Alicia Fox’s first night on RAW after being traded from SmackDown! last week. Gail Kim pinned WWE Diva’s champion Maryse to win the match for her team!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Cody Rhodes spoke to Ted DiBiase, who he referred to as the “original Donald Trump.” Rhodes said he thought it would be wise to focus on the Unified Tag Team title match instead of facing Mark Henry. DiBiase said Rhodes was the son of a son of a plumber, Dusty Rhodes. DiBiase suddenly changed moods and said he despised Dusty Rhodes and it was a travesty that he is in the WWE Hall of Fame and he (DiBiase) is not. DiBiase told Rhodes to leave before he made him wrestle in polka-dots!
SINGLES MATCH
Mark Henry defeated Cody Rhodes by Countout: Cody Rhodes jumped off the ropes but Mark Henry caught him and gave him a World’s Strongest Slam. Rhodes quickly retreated and got himself intentionally counted out.
NON (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP) TITLE MATCH
WWE champion Randy Orton defeated Ted DiBiase Jr.: Ted Jr. put up a good fight but he was no match for the more experienced Randy Orton! Orton showed respect to DiBiase for doing his best..
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW: Triple H told Josh Mathews that it doesn’t matter who he has to go through to get back the WWE title – and that includes John Cena!
VIP LOUNGE
Montel Vontavious Porter + Jack Swagger: MVP said tonight the legendary Million Dollar Man is in charge. MVP said the multi-billion dollar man, Donald Trump, spear-headed a trade that brought his guest to RAW tonight – “The All American, American” Jack Swagger.. MVP asked Swagger how it felt to debut on RAW and expose himself as a fraud by getting intentionally counted out in a match with Randy Orton. MVP asked what kind of All American would do that? Swagger said MVP spent time at Florida State, but NOT the University (the prison). Swagger said if anyone is MVP on RAW, it’s him! MVP said when he was younger he made some bad decisions and it cost him dearly. MVP said he tries to influence the younger generation not to make the same bad decisions. MVP said that he served his time like a man. MVP said there was a huge difference between he and Swagger, and then took off his bling. MVP said “unlike you, I have never been afraid of a fight!” Swagger said he doesn’t fight criminals, and backed out of the ring. MVP said it was obvious to everybody that Swagger doesn’t fight at all. MVP said if Swagger ever wants a fight he can find him in the ring!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Ted Sr. said one day Ted Jr. will be WWE champion. Ted Jr. yelled at his dad and accused him of coming to RAW to steal his spotlight. Ted Sr. told his son he was wrong, so Jr. slapped his dad accross the face and left!
NON (WWE UNITED STATES) TITLE MATCH
Evan “Air” Bourne defeated WWE United States champion Kofi Kingston: After the match, the Big Show came down and attacked Kofi Kingston. Evan Bourne tried to help out Kingston, but the Big Show swatted him away and threw him accross the ring! The Big Show destroyed both high fliers…
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW: John Cena told Josh Mathews that all bets were off because, Monday Night RAW has transformed into WrestleMania. Cena said it’s been too long since he got to say “The Champ is Here!”
NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT FINALS
Triple H vs. John Cena ended in a Double DQ: The match ended when Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase attacked both men! Randy Orton came out and said there was no winner, and that means he won’t be defending the WWE title against either of them at Night of Champions. Ted DiBiase Sr. said neither man LOST, so at Night of Champions, Randy Orton would defend the WWE championship against BOTH Triple H and John Cena!!!
