BACKSTAGE PROMO: Chris Jericho introduced himself as the Best in the World at what he does. Jericho talked about Bragging Rights, specifically the RAW vs. SmackDown! main event. Jericho said since he is the Unified Tag Team champion he can appear on both brands, but he is a proud member ofthe SmackDown! roster. Jericho said he’s been named the Team Captain for SmackDown!. Guest Co-host Nancy O’Dell (from Access Hollywood) came in and said they were going to start the show with Degernation-X!
IN THE RING
Triple H + Shawn Michaels (on the phone) + Chris Jericho & The Big Show: The DX music played, but only Triple H came out to the ring. Triple H did all the DX stuff, using timekeeper Mark Yeaton in the role of Shawn Michaels. HHH said Michaels called and said he had to stay home. HHH said he was named the Team Captain of RAW and had to put a team together for Bragging Rights. HHH called Michaels on his cell, and got a hilarious outgoing message featuring Shawn singing “sexy boy!” Michaels picked up and said he had to stay home because his daughter got sick (I’m sure those rules apply to every WWE Superstar). After some more fun on the phone, HHH said good-bye to Michaels. Unified Tag Team champions Chris Jericho & The Big Show came out to the ring next. HHH wanted Jericho to hold up the DX book and smile into the camera, but Jericho threw it down! Jericho said he was the captain of the SmackDown! team and bragged that it was the superior brand. Triple H said SmackDown! was great but not as great as RAW. Jericho said he wanted the Big Show (a member of the RAW roster) to be on his team at Bragging Rights. Triple H asked Big Show if Jericho was the boss of him. Big Show said he carries the Jerishow team. Jericho said Big Show was laughed off of SportCenter after being humiliated by Shaquille O’Neal. Big Show said Jericho got punked out by 200 year old fossil Bob Barker. Jericho said he would fight Bob Barker any time, any place, and any where. Jericho said he rejuvinated Big Show’s career after he was knocked out by Floyd Mayweather at WrestleMania 24. Big Show said he changed his mind and wanted to be on Team RAW at Bragging Rights. Big Show stood next to Triple H opposed to Jericho in the ring. Triple H said that it was great that Big Show wanted to be on Team RAW, but unfortunately there wasn’t any open spots. Triple H said if Big Show wanted to be on Team RAW, he had to earn it tonight – and his opponent is Chris Jericho… and that the match is NOW! Triple H dropped the microphone and walked out as Jericho’s jaw dropped to the ground!
SINGLES MATCH
The Big Show defeated Chris Jericho by Countout: They stuggled outside the ring, and Jericho tried to slip in, but Big Show pulled him back to the floor and beat the count himself to win the match. Big Show earned the right to join Team RAW at Bragging Rights.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Maria Manunos (from Access Hollywood) & Legacy (Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes): Spicy Maria Manunos asked Legacy how they were feeling since their brutal beating at the hands of DX at Hell in a Cell. Ted DiBiase (who had a black eye) said he was feeling pretty good, but he wasn’t the one carried off on a stretcher. Cody Rhodes said he was hurting but he was more than ready to compete tonight. Both of them wanted to be on Team RAW at Bragging Rights, but Manunos said they would have to compete in a threeway against John Cena with the winner joining Team RAW.. since Cena already has a match at the PPV; if he wins, then neither Rhodes or DiBiase will get to be on Team RAW..
WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH
Jillian Hall defeated Mickie James to win the WWE Diva’s title: Jillian shocked the world by giving Mickie a stiff power-bomb out of the corner and pinning her with her feet on the ropes for leverage. Mickie’s head bounced off the mat and her forhead hit her stomach – ouch! Jillian celebrated by singing Lady Gaga’s “Poparatzi” song in the ring. RAW guest co-host Nancy O’Dell came out and announced that she negotiated a Diva trade, but Jillian was staying on RAW. O’Dell said that Jillian had to defend her new Divas title against RAW’s newest acquisition, MELINA!
WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH
Melina Perez defeated Jillian Hall to win the WWE Diva’s title: They took the belt away from Jillian, and she screamed “it’s mine!” It took Melina less than two minutes to defeat her former best friend to capture the WWE Diva’s title!

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Triple H + Hornswoggle: Triple H was talking about strategy to a cardboard cutout of Shawn Michaels, with Michaels on speaker phone. Whatever floats your boat. Michaels’ music started to play in the background, and Hornswoggle showed up dressed as Shawn Michaels. Michaels said he was going in the other room to look at the TV to see what was going on. Triple H said it was gimmick infringement and told Hornswoggle to get out of there before Shawn sees it on TV. Michaels came back yelling about Hornswoggle stealing his gimmick. Triple H tackled Hornswoggle and rolled around on the floor with him until Horny got up and gave HHH the DX crotch chop!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Nancy O’Dell & Maria Manunos & Santino Marella + Beth Phoenix: Santino Marella was shown auditioning to be the male host of Access Hollywood and did a pretty good job. Beth Phoenix barged in and pushed Santino out of the way to complain about being traded to SmackDown! Phoenix said O’Dell has a bummed knee from Dancing with the Stars and she was going to finish the job. Phoenix ordered O’Dell to call Theodore Long and get the trade reversed. Manunos said everybody on RAW was happy to see Beth go to SmackDown!. Beth pushed Manunos against the wall and threatened her. Santino suggested that Manunos would wrestle Phoenix later tonight! Beth stormed off and Santino claimed that when he was with her faked every “organism.”
TRIPLE THREAT BRAGGING RIGHTS QUALIFYING MATCH
Cody Rhodes defeated Ted DiBiase and John Cena: Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase decided to work together to soften up John Cena for their leader, Randy Orton, with the intention of battling each other for the spot on Team RAW after Cena was taken out. Late in the match, Randy Orton came down and distracted Cena – while Rhodes rolled up DiBiase and pinned him to win the match! Rhodes and DiBiase started yelling at each other, until Orton got between them. Nancy O’Dell came up on the big screen and booked Rhodes & DiBiase against Cena & Orton later tonight!

Randy Orton & Legacy (Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes): Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase were arguing over what happened in their match. Randy Orton shut them up and said the match later would be a handicap match because he will refuse to tag into the match!

Triple H + Nancy O’Dell & Maria Manunos + Chavo Guerrero: Triple H plugged the DX book and helped Maria Manunos prepare for her match with Beth Phoenix.. Chavo Guerrero showed up and asked what Triple H & Hornswoggle were up to? Triple H said he doesn’t like that troll any more than Chavo does. Triple H said it was gimmick infringment and Hornswoggle is lucky he doesn’t sue him! Chavo wanted to know why he didn’t get a chance to compete on Team RAW, saying he was better than Big Show, Kofi Kingston, and Cody Rhodes. Chavo said he should be the captain of the team, because he is a GUERRERO! Triple H gave Manunos the que and she kicked Chavo between the legs! HHH left with the girls and Shawn’s voice came over the speaker phone, “and if you’re not down with that, I got two words for ya!” and the crowd yelled “suck it!”
SIX-DIVA TAG TEAM MATCH
Gail Kim & Kelly Kelly & Maria Manunos w/Nancy O’Dell defeated Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes & Alicia Fox: Maria Manunos fit right in with the Divas, and picked up a lot of skills quickly. The only difference was that she has no boobs.
ON STAGE: Mike “The Miz” Mizanin asked for some respect for the NEW United States champion. The Miz told the fans to get used to his bragging, because he will face the WWE Intercontinental champion (John Morrison) from SmacKDown! at Bragging Rights. The Miz talked about winning numerous tag team titles with Morrison, and claimed that he was the talent of the team – and Morrison was just a hairdo with abs. The Miz did some more bragging and finished with “because I’m the Miz, and I’m AWESOME!”
MAIN EVENT TAG TEAM MATCH
Legacy (Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes) defeated John Cena & Randy Orton: Randy Orton said he just got off of the phone with next week’s guest host, Snoop Dogg, and told him that John Cena will be off of RAW next week. John Cena came out and Orton jumped down to the floor, refusing to tag into the match. Eventually Orton got involved and started bashing Cena with punches! DiBiase snuck in and rolled up Orton for the 1-2-3 to win the match! Orton was furious with DiBiase for what he did, but Cena snuck up behind Orton and gave him the Attitude Adjustment! They announced that Cena would face Triple H next week, in what could be Cena’s last match on RAW!
