“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video recaps the last three weeks of the RAW vs. Smackdown feud. Three weeks ago, the Smackdown roster put RAW under siege. Two weeks ago, Kane attacked Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan backstage. Last week, The New Day invaded RAW again and cost Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose the RAW Tag Team Championships to Cesaro and Sheamus.

Stephanie McMahon questions RAW GM Kurt Angle

WWE RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring. She welcomes everyone to Monday Night RAW. As the Commissioner of Monday Night RAW, she has to make decisions that impacts the WWE Universe, shareholders, and employees. The crowd cannot understand her decisions, but she needs people to understand her decisions like the General Manager of RAW. She introduces Kurt Angle to the ring. Angle comes out to a big reception. Angle says she may be upset, but he was 100% prepared for Smackdown’s raid last week. She said she’s not upset, but she wants to know how The New Day got into the building. Angle doesn’t know. McMahon asks if there was actually a “raid”? Angle let the whole RAW roster out to the ring, but was there really a raid or did her brother just manipulate him again? She thinks for RAW’s 25th anniversary, she can put together a video compilation of what happened these last few weeks. Angle brought the RAW roster out to face nothing. She says he’ll make good on it and name the fifth member of Team RAW. Angle says Jason Jordan is the fifth member. She asks who he is. Angle says Jordan is more than capable, but she cuts him off and asks the question again. Angle says he is his son. She asks what accolades and achievements he has. Angle says he’s talented. She asks who Smackdown’s fifth member is. Angle says John Cena is the fifth member for Smackdown. She mentions that the last time she saw Cena, he was on RAW. That means Angle either chose Jordan over Cena or Cena was so embarrassed by Angle’s actions that he decided he’d rather be on Smackdown. Angle says she’ll have to ask Cena. She asks what the very first thing is he’ll do at Survivor Series. Angle says he’s going to break her brother’s ankle. Angle says he’ll start the match and if Shane has any balls, he’ll start the match too. McMahon loves that, but she says Shane will let everyone do his dirty work. She also doesn’t think he’s capable of breaking anyone’s ankle anymore. She thinks Angle has gone too soft. Nothing Angle has said has made her change her mind. She doesn’t want an ankle. She wants her brother’s head on a platter. Angle has left her no other choice. McMahon says, “Kurt Angle…,” but she’s interrupted by The Shield’s music.

The Shield makes their way through the ring alongside Roman Reigns, who gets a big reception upon his return from the mumps. The crowd loudly cheers The Shield as they get in the ring. Dean Ambrose asks if she’s looking for a leader. A lot have come and gone, but no one is better than Kurt Angle. Angle is their guy, and he proved he still has it at WWE TLC. A “You still got it” chant breaks out. She asks them where their Tag Team Titles are, but then says they lost it because of Kurt Angle. Are they even competing at Survivor Series or did Angle overlook them again? Maybe Angle isn’t to blame. Maybe it’s The New Day that made them look like fools, just like Angle. As for Reigns, where the hell has he even been? Reigns says she has a lot of questions, but he wants to know where the hell she’s been. They haven’t seen her in six or seven months. All that happened was she went through a table at WrestleMania. Her husband put her through that table. They don’t do what she tells them to do. They do what they want to do. Would she like to know what they want to do? They want to fight The New Day. If they have balls and want to accept, they’ll be fighting at Survivor Series. It’ll be The New Day versus The Shield. Angle will lead Team RAW to victory, and they’ll whoop The New Day’s ass and destroy them. The crowd loudly cheers for Reigns.

The Shield will be in action for the first time in three years against The Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus. Brock Lesnar will also have a reaction to his new Survivor Series opponent, AJ Styles. Later tonight, The Miz will host Miz TV with guests Sheamus and Cesaro. Coming up next, Enzo Amore and Drew Gulak will make an appearance.

-Commercial Break-

Enzo Amore and Drew Gulak make their way to the ring. Enzo does his usual shtick, and Gulak says he’s doing fine. At Survivor Series, he’s defending his Cruiserweight Championship against Tostito Kalisto. He’s fighting for the future of 205 Live. Enzo then turns the microphone over to Gulak, who is then immediately interrupted by Kalisto’s music.

Cruiserweight Match
Enzo Amore and Drew Gulak vs. Kalisto and Akira Tozawa

Drew Gulak starts the match against Kalisto. Akira Tozawa is immediately tagged in. Gulak apparently hates chanting in arenas. Gulak takes him down and applies a side headlock. Enzo blind tags in and blindsides Tozawa. They send Tozawa into the ropes, but he ducks an attack. Kalisto tags in and hits a springboard dropkick on them.

-Commercial Break-

Coming up next, The Miz will have The Bar on Miz TV.

-Commercial Break-

A replay of Stephanie McMahon seemingly getting ready to fire Kurt Angle only for her to be interrupted by The Shield from earlier tonight is shown.

Kurt Angle is backstage with Team RAW. Angle mentions that Samoa Joe and Finn Balor tore each other apart last week, so he needs to know if they can get along. Tonight, they’ll take on Gallows and Anderson. As for Jordan, he’ll prove he’s not picking favorites. Tonight, Jordan will face Bray Wyatt. Angle turns to Braun Strowman, and he immediately says he wants Kane. Angle agrees to the match. Strowman says, “Oh it’s true. It’s damn true.”

Miz TV with special guests The Bar

The Miz makes his entrance with The Miztourage. The Miz welcomes the crowd to the show and says we’re six days away from Survivor Series. It’s the one night of the year when RAW takes on Smackdown. This is also the one time of the year when the resident Internet tough guy Baron Corbin steps into the spotlight against him… unless he squanders the opportunity by losing to Sin Cara tomorrow on Smackdown Live. People may not think that could happen, but it’s Corbin’s M.O. Corbin squandered his Money in the Bank opportunity. Corbin wasn’t even on Smackdown Live last week. Couldn’t even be the bathroom break. Miz says he doesn’t squander opportunities, and the crowd loudly cheers that. Tonight, he’ll face The Shield with his guests, and it will be a monumental victory. Miz then introduces Sheamus and Cesaro to the ring.

The new RAW Tag Team Champions make their way to the ring. Replays are shown of Sheamus and Cesaro winning the titles from Ambrose and Rollins by capitalizing on a New Day distraction. Miz congratulates them on their victory. Sheamus says they appreciate it, but it was no surprise because they did what they always do: kept their eyes on the prize. Cesaro says while Rollins and Ambrose cared about defending RAW, all they cared about was taking back what’s theirs. Now they’re three-time RAW Tag Team Champions. The crowd gives them a mixed reception. Sheamus says not only are they three-time Tag Team Champions, they’re the real Tag Team Champions of WWE, unlike The Usos. They won their titles on that cute little B-show, Smackdown. A “You look stupid” chant fires up. Miz puts his hand up and tells them while it’s up, their mouths will be shut. They’ll sit and listen to the RAW Tag Team Champions. Sheamus thanks The Miz for his help. They are the A-team Tag Team Champions. They’re the RAW Tag Team Champions. At Survivor Series, they’re going to jailbreak The Uso Penitentiary.

Miz says tonight they’ll break The Shield. For the first time in three years, they’ll take on the original Shield. There will be no glory hogging Kurt Angle doing a bait and switch. This time it’s Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns in the ring at the same time. They had to set aside their betrayals and years of fighting to make this reunion happen for the sole purpose of facing them. Miz says they are the champions. This isn’t The Shield’s moment. This is their moment. The happy reunion tour ends tonight! Cesaro says they don’t just set the bar; they ARE The Bar!

Replays are shown of Smackdown putting RAW #UnderSiege three weeks ago.

It’s official: The New Day will take on The Shield.

Brock Lesnar addresses new WWE Champion AJ Styles

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring with his advocate, Paul Heyman. A replay is shown of AJ Styles defeating Jinder Mahal last Tuesday to win the WWE Championship. An AJ Styles/Suplex City chant picks up. Heyman says, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am the advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar!” Heyman says Lesnar gave him permission to dogmatize the five reasons why you needs to be a subscriber to the WWE Network by this Sunday. This is the first time a Universal Champion is taking on a WWE Champion. It’s the first time in history Brock Lesnar will step into the ring against AJ Styles. To be perfectly candid, it may be the only time this happens. If they want to see Brock Lesnar versus AJ Styles, it’ll happen this Sunday on the WWE Network. That’s only the first selling point. He has four more.

Heyman wants to see Brock Lesnar take on AJ Styles. No one can tell the virtues of Lesnar better than his advocate. Lesnar has been in the ring against opponents that are bigger and stronger, but he’s never seen Lesnar in the ring against anyone that can claim to be better than him. Styles is elusive and abusive. Styles has mastered the technique of “speed kills.” Selling point three… they’re interrupted by a “She said ‘yes’” chant. Apparently someone in the crowd got engaged during this segment. Heyman says she only said “Yes” because she’s never been this up close to a beast like Brock Lesnar. Interrupting his promo is like stepping into the ring with Brock Lesnar – you ain’t got a chance! Selling point three is AJ Styles is the single most talented in-ring performer of this generation. Some people think that could be Finn Balor, but Styles is the ultimate opponent for Lesnar. Styles is on a roll, has momentum, and a respected and admired WWE Champion. The only thing is Styles has to be the ultimate underdog because this good ol’ boy from Georgia is going to step into the ring against the Georgia Bulldog Eating Carnivore who is the #1 Champion in WWE then, now, and forever. Styles has to overcome these odds, which leads him to selling point number four. If you want to see a “Rocky” movie come to life, he gives them AJ Styles. A loud “AJ Styles” chant picks up. Heyman talks about how Styles has scored victories over John Cena, Shane McMahon, and Jinder Mahal this year. This is a “Rocky” movie come to life, only Selling Point F5: this isn’t a “Rocky” movie. Heyman says Styles can’t survive the F5. Heyman is looking forward to pontificating about Styles’ heroic effort when he gets beaten, victimized, and conquered by the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

The Shield is in action for the first time in three years against The Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus, next.

Miz tries to run away, but Reigns spears him down. The Shield hits the Triple Powerbomb, and Reigns pins him for the win.

Winners by Pinfall: The Shield

Still photos are shown of the feud between Braun Strowman and Kane. Kane chokeslammed him through the stage at WWE TLC before stuffing him into a garbage truck.

Kane is shown backstage. Even someone as sick and depraved as him can smile. All he has to do is remember what he did to Braun Strowman. He can still hear the sound of the garbage truck crushing his body, a symphony of horror. There are some things worse than death – that’s him.
