“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video kicks off the show highlighting the wild wedding of Bobby Lashley and Lana. We go into the arena to see a big fireworks display. The commentators run down the show for tonight.

Heyman says to the booing crowd, “Happy New Year to you, too, bitches.” Heyman introduces himself as the advocate of the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar is all about making history. Heyman asked Lesnar who is worthy to step into the ring with the conqueror in sports entertainment history. Lesnar’s answer was… there is not one person that can or is worthy enough to share the spotlight with him. The crowd boos. Heyman says they don’t boo Brock Lesnar, which only makes them boo louder. Lesnar is about to do something unprecedented and can be legitimately advertised as “first time ever.” They said The Undertaker couldn’t be defeated at WrestleMania… but his client conquered The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania. No beast could be NCAA Heavyweight Champion, UFC Champion, WWE Heavyweight Champion, and WWE Champion… ladies and gentlemen, Brock Lesnar.

There’s a universe Brock Lesnar has not yet conquered. Do you want to see Lesnar in a dream match at the Royal Rumble? How about every single challenger that wants Lesnar at the Royal Rumble gets him? His client is entering the Royal Rumble match! He’s not just entering the match. That would kind of make history. His client is entering the Royal Rumble match first! That means if Roman Reigns is in the Royal Rumble, it’s Lesnar versus Reigns. If Seth Rollins enters, it’s Rollins vs. Lesnar. Anyone that enters the Rumble will go face-to-face with Lesnar. Although Lesnar takes the ring first, he’ll be standing victorious in the ring last! Ambitious? Yes. Unprecedented? Absolutely. Historic? You damn right. Brazen? Brock Lesnar is the beast of brazen. Brock Lesnar will conquer and win the Royal Rumble after entering first… that’s not just a prediction. That is a spoiler. Lesnar and Heyman walk off.

We go backstage to see Rey Mysterio talking in Spanish. Sara Schreiber walks up to him. She asks how much the United States Championship opportunity means to him.
