BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero + Jeff Hardy + The Big Show: Chavo Guerrero described what it was like when the Undertaker choked him last week. Chavo said he thought he was going to die, but Undertaker released the hold and told him to give Vickie the message that he was coming after her next (this) week. Vickie told Chavo to get the Big Show and tell him to return. Jeff Hardy came in and asked for a match with Vladimir Kozlov, and she said the same thing she said to Triple H – they already have a match. Chavo Guerrero returned with the Big Show, and he stood with Vickie to protect her from the Undertaker.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Triple H & Jeff Hardy defeated Montel Vontavious Porter & Brian Kendrick w/Ezekiel Jackson. After the match, Jeff Hardy got the WWE championship from the time-keeper’s table and presented it to a very cautious Triple H.
IN THE RING
WWE United States champion Shelton Benjamin + R-Truth (Ron Killings): Shelton Benjamin said he was the GOLD Standard, but some people on the roster have no standard at all – namely R-Truth! Benjamin continued to insult R-Truth until the Truth showed up doing his “What’s Up?” rap. R-Truth looked at Benjamin and sarcastically asked, “What’s up?” the U.S. champion backed out of the ring and went backstage as R-Truth continued to dance and rap with the fans.
DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
Maria Kanellis & Brie Bella defeated Victoria & Natalya Neidhart: Brie Bella climbed under the ring again and almost immediately popped out the other side, which was either poor timing or the first sign of the Bella Twin experiment unraveling!
SINGLES MATCH
The Great Khali vs. Vladimir Kozlov ended in a No Contest: Vladimir Kozlov took the fight to the Great Khali and knocked him out of the ring! WWE champion Triple H made his way to the ring to confront Kozlov, who surprisingly backed out of the ring. Triple H invited Kozlov back into the ring, and he cautiously climbed onto the ring apron. Khali entered from the other side and distracted Triple H. Soon, Kozlov and Khali were double-teaming Triple H until Jeff Hardy ran down to try to help his No Mercy opponent! Khali & Kozlov started pounding on Hardy until HHH found a sledgehammer under the ring! Kozlov wisely retreated while HHH assaulted Khali with the weapon! Triple H threw the hammer and invited Kozlov back into the ring, but Kozlov would not get in the ring with HHH, Hardy, and a sledgehammer.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero & The Big Show: Chavo Guerrero said he had a funny feeling that the Undertaker would get Vickie tonight. The Big Show said he thought Chavo would abandon his family. Big Show showed footage of what he did to the Undertaker at Unforgiven to prove to Chavo that Vickie was safe with him. Vickie told Chavo that he had a match tonight.
SINGLES MATCH
Chavo Guerrero defeated Jimmy Wang Yang: After the match, the lights flickered (a message from the Undertaker), and Chavo started to freak out.
WWE TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Carlito & Primo Colon defeated Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins to win the WWE Tag Team titles! To quote Tazz, “Congratulations to Carlito and his baby brother Primo, new Tag Team champions.. that’s pretty cool!”
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero & The Big Show: The Big Show told Chavo Guerrero that they would smoke out the Undertaker in the ring. Chavo said they didn’t need him. Vickie said Chavo could join them in the ring or stay backstage alone. Chavo followed his aunt Vickie to the ring.
DURING THE COMMERCIAL BREAK
Jesse & Festus: During the commercial break, Jesse & Festus backed a MyMovingCo van into the arena to pick up some garbage. Cameras caught a glimpse inside the van and saw Kenny Dykstra and Ryan Braddock inside, still duct taped and tied up!
IN THE RING
Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero & The Big Show + The Undertaker: Vickie Guerrero asked where the Undertaker was. Vickie said she never should have reinstated the Undertaker in the first place. Vickie showed more videos of what she and the Big Show did to him at Unforgiven. The Big Show claimed that he had destroyed the myth of the Undertaker. Just then, the lights went out briefly, and Chavo mysteriously disappeared. The Undertaker appeared on the big screen, assaulting Chavo in Vickie’s office. Vickie ordered the Big Show to run back and rescue Chavo. Vickie was left standing alone in the middle of the ring, so Tazz got up and was about to interview her. The lights went out, and the Undertaker appeared out of thin air behind Vickie. Vickie did her best to act scared (terrible) as the Undertaker cornered her and grabbed her by the throat before lifting her and planting her with a Tombstone Pile-driver!!!
