Welcome to the last Smackdown of the year!

John Cena makes his way to the ring, Cena says this is the last Smackdown of 2013. Cena says this crowd will help the WWE Universe around the world bring in the New Year. Cena says when the New Year is brought in, the fun is over. Cena says everyone will be worried about their resolutions. John says his are bear hugging a real bear, having a hip-hop album with Great Khali and drafting his XFL team. Cena says he would also like to gain 40 pounds, but says he could gain that tonight. Cena says the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is about 40 lbs, and if he factors the Earth’s gravitational pull, he might just get that weight on. Cena says he knows Orton is listening, and wants Randy to come down to face him for the title.

The Shield interrupts. The three surround Cena, and ambush him. Mark Henry makes the save, but the numbers get the better of him. Big E Langston runs to make the save, making the numbers even.

Kane comes out, saying that as Director of Operations it is obvious to him there are some issues for everyone to work out. Kane says Dean Ambrose will face Big E Langston, Roman Reigns will face Mark Henry and John Cena will face Seth Rollins. Kane lights up his ring pyro, and leaves for the back.

The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey)

Uso takes Rowan off the apron, and through Luke to the floor. One of the two dives onto them, while the other waits for Harper. Luke takes them out with a big boot, but another waits in the corner. Harper is hit in the corner, and dropped with a Corkscrew Splash. Pin, but a kick out. Harper connects with a forearm and a Discus Lariat. Rowan connects with a Running Splash for the win.

Winners: Wyatt Family (Pinfall)

Bray connects with a Sister Abagail to one of them.

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Randy Orton asking him about his New Year’s Resolution. Orton says he should enter the Royal Rumble and win it, sit in a luxury box for WMXXX and retire the champion. Dolph Ziggler comes up saying someone can’t be inducted if they are spineless. Ziggler says he will be the one to shut him up. Orton says he is asking for an RKO. Kane makes the match official, as Ziggler says it’s about time. Kane tells Orton that backstage must be safe, but in the ring is different.

Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.

Tag team champion Cody Rhodes w/ Goldust vs. Antonio Cesaro w/ Jack Swagger

They lock up, as Rhodes backs Cesaro into the corner. They back out, as they lock up again. Rhodes locks in a Side Headlock, into a Takeover. Rhodes is pushed against the ropes, but keeps the hold on. Cesaro reverses into a Hammerlock, as Rhodes trips him up. Rhodes locks in a Front Facelock, but Cesaro gets the Hammerlock again. Rhodes sends Cesaro to the floor. Goldust blows in Cesaro’s face, as Rhodes goes to his aid. The two teams standoff. Cesaro and Rhodes get back in the rings, as Cesaro takes Cody to the corner. Rhodes gets out with his Twisting Sunset Flip. Rhodes is sent to the floor, as Cesaro follows. Rhodes is thrown back into the ring, and pinned. Kick out. Rhodes is put in the corner, as Cesaro connects with some jabs to the gut. Cesaro connects with a European Uppercut. Cesaro brings him out with a Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro locks in a Rear Chinlock, but Rhodes pushes him away. Cesaro is hit with a High Knee, followed by an uppercut. Rhodes and Cesaro run the ropes, as Antonio is taken out. Swagger distracts on the ropes, as Cesaro connects with a European Uppercut to the back of Rhodes’ head. Cesaro rolls him up for the win.

Primetime Players (Darren Young and Titus O’Neil) vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel

Darren and Ryback start off, as Young is thrown to the mat. Ryback takes him out with some clubbing blows, but Young connects with an elbow. Young connects with a low Dropkick, and tags Titus. Young is dropped on Ryback with a Front Suplex. Titus and Ryback trade blows, while Ryback runs the ropes. Titus takes him out with a shoulder. Axel tags himself, as he knees Titus as he is pushed into the ropes by Ryback. Axel chops Titus in the corner, but takes some of his own. Titus runs to Axel, but is hit with a Dropkick. Axel chokes Titus with his foot, as Ryback is tagged. Ryback connects with a Front Facelock, but Titus is driven into the corner. Axel is tagged, as he slaps Titus in the head. Axel runs the ropes, but is hit with a Big Boot. Darren is tagged, as he connects with a Belly-to-belly. Darren connects with a corner Lariat, and a Northern Lights. Pin, but Ryback breaks it. The PTP take out Ryback, as Axel tries to roll up Young. Axel is rolled up himself, as the Players pick up the win.

Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring.

WWE world heavyweight champion Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler (non-title)

They lock up, as Ziggler is taken to the corner. Ziggler reverses it, but Orton rolls to the floor. Orton gets back in, as they lock up. Orton gets a Side Headlock, and takes Ziggler out with a shoulder. Ziggler takes Orton to the corner with a flurry of fists, but Orton kicks him away. Orton connects with a Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Orton is whipped to the corner, but he connects with an elbow to Orton. Ziggler connects with fists from the corner. Ziggler connects with a Snapmare into an Elbow Drop. Pin, but a kick out. Orton trips Ziggler, as he is driven face first into the turn buckles. Orton and Ziggler trade fists, but Ziggler catches Orton in the face with a Dropkick. Orton rolls to the floor.

Ziggler rolls back into the ring, as during the break he was thrown into the steel post and fell out. Orton connects with Garvin Stomps, and a Knee Drop. Pin, but a kick out. Orton pulls on Dolph’s hair, and locks in a Rear Headlock. Ziggler stands out, but is taken out with a knee to the gut. Orton pulls the hair, and locks in another Headlock. Ziggler connects with a Chinbreaker reversal, as Ziggler is whipped. Dolph kicks Orton, and connects with fists. Ziggler connects with a Stinger Splash, and connects with fists from the corner. Ziggler connects with a Neckbreaker, followed by an Elbow Drop. Ziggler goes for the Fameasser, but misses. Orton misses with a Scoop Slam, as Ziggler connects with a Jumping DDT. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler goes top rope, but is tripped up. Orton follows him up, but Ziggler gets him away. Ziggler connects with a Missile Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler throws Orton into the ring post, and then connects with a Fameasser. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler takes Orton to the corner with fists, but is back away. Orton pokes Ziggler in the eye when the ref is turned, and connects with an RKO for the win.

Winner: Randy Orton (Pinfall)

Orton attacks Ziggler post-match, throwing him into the steps, the ring post and over the barricade. Orton connects with a DDT to Ziggler off the barricade.

The Shield cut a promo, saying 2014 is going to be like 2013. Dean says nothing will change about the Shield. Dean says Langston has gotten a little taste of the Shield, but bite off more than he could chew. Reigns says Henry is with the Hall of Pain, but Roman gives pain a whole new meaning. Rollins says Cena believes in Hustle, Loyalty and Respect but he believes in nothing more than driving his boot into the back of Cena’s head and driving his face into the mat. Believe in the Shield.

Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring.

Daniel Bryan vs. Damien Sandow

They lock up, as Sandow is taken to the corner. Bryan is hit with kicks, but locks in a Headlock. Daniel is knocked down, and hit with kicks. Daniel goes for Sandow, but he is kick and chokes against the ropes. Sandow throws Daniel to the floor. Sandow throws Daniel into the barricade, and follows. Pin, but a kick out. Sandow connects with knees to the face, followed by a Powerslam. Sandow connects with an Elbow of Disdain and pins. Kick out. Sandow locks a Chinlock, but Daniel stands out. Daniel runs the ropes, but is taken out. Bryan is set up in the corner, as Sandow whips him out. Daniel backflips out and connects with a Running Lariat. Daniel connects with a Dropkick to a cornered Sandow, and puts him on the top rope. Daniel connects with a Frankensteiner, followed by kicks to the chest. Daniel goes for a Roundhouse, but Sandow rolls him up. Daniel gets out, and connects with a Roundhouse. Sandow is hit with a Busaiku Knee.

Winner: Daniel Bryan (Pinfall)

Bray says he has been stuck with so many daggers, but still walks upright. Wyatt says the people chose him, like a moth to a flame. Wyatt says Bryan forget who controls the inferno. Wyatt says he is more than a man – he is a god.

Intercontinental champion Big E Langston vs. United States champion Dean Ambrose (non-title match)

Langston drives Dean into the corner, and connects with a Spear. Ambrose kicks Langston, and connects with a Lariat. Dean connects with a Twist Elbow Drop. Pin, but a kick out. Dean connects with fists to Langston in the ropes, and follows with a Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Dean locks in a Headlock, but Langston runs the ropes. Dean gets a knee into the gut of Langston. Dean goes top rope, but is thrown to the mat. Langston connects with a Belly-to-belly and connects with a Running Splash. Dean takes Langston to the floor. Dean throws Big E back in, but is hit with a Big Ending.

Winner: Big E Langston (Pinfall)

Mark Henry vs. Roman Reigns

They lock up, as Roman is pushed away. They lock hands, as Roman headbutts and punches him. Henry pushes him out of the ring. Henry follows him to the floor, and smashes him into the ring apron. Roman is thrown back into the ring, as Henry pins. Kick out. Henry headbutts Roman and whips him. Reigns is taken out with a Big Boot. Roman is taken to the apron, as he snaps Henry in them. Roman connects with a Flying Forearm. Pin, but a kick out. Roman locks in a Head Lock, but Henry gets out by throwing Reigns up. Mark takes out Roman, connecting with a JYD Headbutt. Henry smashes Roman in the corner, but is hit with a big Samoan Drop. Roman does a three point stance, and connects with a Superman Punch. Roman connects with a Spear for the win.

They lock up, as Rollins locks in a Side Headlock. Cena gets out, into one of his own. Rollins locks in a front facelock, as Cena gets a Seated Hammerlock. Rollins reverses, but is whipped. Rollins is thrown with a Hip Toss, as he rolls to the floor. Seth connects with strikes to Cena, but is taken to the corner. Rollins is whipped to the opposite corner, as Cena hits the turn buckles. Seth keeps Cena grounded with kicks. Cena fights back, going for a Bulldog, but is taken out with a Clothesline. Pin, but a kick out. Rollins locks in a Chinlock, but Cena carries him up. Cena backs him into the corner, but is hit with a Big Boot from Rollins in the corner. Seth connects with a knee and pins. Kick out. Seth connects with a Neckbreaker. Pin, but a kick out.

Seth takes Cena out with fists to the face. Rollins whips Cena to the corner, as he falls to the mat. Rollins goes to whip Cena, but is sent to the corner as he does the Shawn Michaels corner spot. Cena takes out Seth with some Shoulder Tackles, but is caught and hit with a Reverses STO in the ropes. Pin, but a kick out. Rollins mocks Cena, but is hit with a Powerslam. Cena connects with a 5 Knuckle Shuffle, and goes for the AA. Rollins lands on his feet, and connects with a Blockbuster. Pin, but a kick out. Rollins connects with a Corner Elbow Strike. Rollins goes for another, but is caught in a Half Nelson Neckbreaker. Pin, but a kick out. Cena goes top rope, but Rollins pushes the rope. Rollins connects with a Skywalker. Pin, but a kick out. Rollins runs the ropes, but is caught in a Powerbomb. Pin, but a kick out. Cena goes for an AA, but Rollins grabs the ropes. Cena tries to pulls Rollins away, but is hit with a Swinging Enziguri. Pin, but a kick out. Rollins goes top rope, as he connects with a Diving Knee. Pin, but a kick out. Rollins goes for the Blackout, but is caught in the STF. Rollins grabs the bottom rope. Dean gets in the ring, but Big E stops him. Roman connect with a Flying Clothesline to Langston. Henry throws Roman onto Dean. Rollins dives onto Cena, but is rolled up and picked up into an AA.
