Triple H is welcomed to the ring. Hunter says one of his jobs as COO is finding the greatest talent around the globe, and giving them the opportunity to succeed. Of everyone he has seen, Hunter says the Shield is three of the most talented guys he has seen in years. This is the reason he gave them power. However, Hunter says that power might have gotten them to think where they could bring that. Triple H says at some point, you need to find the line in the sand, and know not to cross it. Triple H says the Shield crossed it.

An Evolution vs. Shield video package is shown.

Triple H says on Raw, the Shield was humbled. Hunter says he told Michael Cole on their interview, that he is willing to put this behind them. Hunter only wants the trio to beg on their hands and knees for forgiveness. Triple H says the only thing he got in response was from Roman Reigns, he said, “Kings don’t win war, soldiers do.” Hunter says that is a neat tagline, but something that is more accurate, “Soldiers are the currency for which empires are bought and sold. The Shield has lost their value.” In closing, Hunter makes an Extreme Rules match: The Shield vs. Evolution. Triple H intends to show the three what true power really is. In life, you either adapt or perish. That, is Evolution.
