Welcome to this week’s Smackdown! The show begins with a teaser of what is to come tonight. The Shield is featured, as on Raw, Seth Rollins was RKO’d by Randy Orton. Also, tonight is Social Media Smackdown. There will be live tweets, polls, Touts and more throughout the evening.
Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring. Damien Sandow makes his way to the ring, with a mic. Damien speaks of how Alberto fits in with America, with poor grammar, lackluster word choice and abhorrent sentence structure. Above all, Sandow says Alberto is accompanied by a man in a rented tuxedo in a spit bucket. Damien says he is only accompanied by his superior intellect, timeless good looks and the jealous gazes of the unwashed masses. Alberto says Sandow should wash his mouth out, because it smells like “cacka.”
World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez vs. Damien Sandow
Damien and Alberto lock up, as Damien gets a Side Headlock. Sandow is thrown off the ropes, as Del Rio is taken down with a shoulder. They lock up again, as Alberto gets a Side Headlock applied. Del Rio is thrown against the ropes, as he takes out Damien with shoulders. Damien escapes to the apron, but returns. Sandow kicks Del Rio, following with a Headlock Takeover. Del Rio pushes Damien in the corner. Sandow kicks Del Rio, throwing Alberto into the corner. Del Rio kicks Damien, putting him back in the corner. Alberto connects with a kick following a Snapmare. Del Rio connects with a Body Slam, following with a Moonsault from the second rope. Pin, but a kick out. Sandow begins headbutting Del Rio. Damien connects with a Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Damien locks in a Headlock.Del Rio stands out, throwing fists. Sandow throws Del Rio to the mat, and begins stomping him. Damien connects with a Knee Drop. Pin, but a kick out. Damien locks in a Headlock, as Del Rio stands out. Del Rio throws Sandow to the ropes, but is taken out with a shoulder. Damien is tripped with a Drop Toe Hold. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio whips Damien into the corner, as Sandow goes off the second rope. Del Rio kicks Sandow’s chest. Sandow rolls to the apron, as he is hit with an Enziguri. Sandow falls to the floor.
Damien connects with a Body Slam. Damien connects with an Elbow of Distain. Pin, but a kick out. Damien throws punches, following with knees to the shoulder of a grounder Del Rio. Damien connects with a knee to the back, locking in a Chinlock. Del Rio punches out, also connecting with a headbutt. Damien runs the ropes, kicking a bowing Del Rio. Alberto connects with a German Suplex, dodging a fist from Sandow. Sandow and Del Rio trade fists in the middle of the ring. Sandow gets the upperhand, whipping Del Rio into the corner. Sandow runs for him, but Alberto moves. Sandow is taken out with a Clothesline. Del Rio connects with a Tilt-a-whirl Backbreaker. Del Rio follows with a Superkick to a kneeling Damien. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio calls for an Armbreaker. Del Rio goes for it, but Damien reverses into a Reverse Sit Out Mat Slam. Pin, but a kick out. Sandow goes to kick Del Rio, but has his leg thrown into the ropes. Del Rio elbows his back nine times, following with a Backstabber. Pin, but a kick out, Del Rio runs to a cornered Sandow, but is hit with a boot. Sandow connects with a Flip Neckbreaker. Pin, but a kick out. Damien connects with multiple knees, going for the Terminus. Del Rio reverses into the Cross Armbreaker for the win.

In WWE Active, Albert Del Rio speaks of being the leader of Smackdown. Ricardo says since it is Social Media Smackdown, they should do something different. Alberto says everyone can vote for his opponent for next week.
In a highlight from Raw, clips from John Cena vs. CM Punk are shown. Many of the spots are highlighted, playing clips from Punk and Cena’s previous promos, respectively. Cena beats Punk after an AA to face the Rock for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 29.
Kane is backstage, as Daniel comes up to him. Bryan gives Kane the face mask he wore, saying that was the only reason that he beat the Primetime Players. Daniel says he talked to Booker T, saying they will have a rematch. This time, Kane will be blindfolded and he will have his arm tied behind his back. Kane says he is okay with it, because he can prove he is better than Daniel and wont have to see his goat face. Daniel starts yelling “No!”
The Miz makes his way to the ring.
Antonio Cesaro makes his way to the ring. A highlight from Raw two weeks ago is shown. Miz defeated Cesaro in a No DQ match, earning the championship match for tonight.
2/3 Falls Match for the United States Championship: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. The Miz
Antonio and Miz lock up, as Miz rolls up Cesaro. Kick out. They lock up, as Cesaro locks in a Waistlock, following with a bridging pin. Kick out. Cesaro locks in a Headlock, throwing Miz against the ropes. Miz is taken out with a shoulder. Pin, but a kick out. Miz is thrown into the ropes, attempting an Arm Drag. Cesaro stops it, but is hit with a Lariat. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro connects with a Sunset Flip Pin, but Miz kicks him in the face. Cesaro rolls to the floor. Cesaro comes back, as Miz connects with a Kneebreaker. Cesaro is then hit with a Dragon Screw. Miz follows Cesaro to the floor, getting on the apron. Cesaro tries to grab Miz while back in the ring, but Miz slides under his legs. Miz rolls up Cesaro, but a kick out. Cesaro takes out Miz, locking in a Headlock. Miz elbows out, but is whipped agaisnt the ropes. Miz rolls him up, but a kick out. Miz is whipped to the corner, as he does a Float Over. Miz connects with a Lariat. Cesaro is in the corner, as Miz runs for a Lariat. Cesaro grabs him, connecting with an Argentine Body Slam. Miz pins with a Small Package. Kick out. Cesaro connects with the Neutralizer.

Cesaro deadlifts Miz, transitioning into a Gutwrench Suplex. Cesaro follows with a Double Stomp to the chest. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro locks in a Sleeper Hold, taking Miz down to one knee. Miz elbows out, and is thrown against the ropes. Miz is picked up, but a gets out and kicks Cesaro. Miz takes down Cesaro, throwing fists. Cesaro slaps Miz in the face, as Miz throws two Clotheslines. Miz connects with a Backbreker, going for a Neckbreaker. Miz is thrown into the corner. Miz goes to Cesaro, but connects with a Swiss Death Uppercut. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro misses with an elbow, as Miz connects with a Dropkick to Cesaro’s knee. Miz follows with a DDT to a kneeling Cesaro. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro and Miz trade fists while on their knees. They both stand up, as Miz attacks Cesaro in the corner. Cesaro is hit with a Running Corner Lariat, as Miz goes top rope. Miz connects with a Double Axe Handle. Miz knees the inside of Cesaro’s leg. Miz locks in the Figure Four. Cesaro crawls to the bottom rope, breaking the hold. Miz pulls Cesaro away. Miz is kicked into the ref in the corner. Cesaro pushes Cesaro into the ref, as he rolls up Miz. The ref doesn’t see it, but catches Miz’s reversal. Cesaro reverses the pin, grabbing the tights for the win.

Backstage, Randy Orton and Sheamus speak about Orton’s match with Big Show later tonight. Sheamus says he will watch his back for the Shield during the match, Randy thanks Sheamus for his help, and walks away.
Jim Ross makes his way to the ring, preparing for an interview with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter.
A Fandango vignette is shown.
Jim Ross speaks of being back in Oklahoma. Ross says he would like to address one of the most controversial subjects in WWE. Ross introduces Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter, as they make their way to the ring.
Ross says he and Jack go back a long way. Ross say he respects Swagger ability. Ross says he actually recruited Swagger when he played Football and Wrestled. Swagger said that team had no heart, but says Ross is a Real American. Ross says after Swagger returned, he was not the same as he was. Colter says he told him the truth about what happens in America. Colter says WWE is a microcosm of what happens everyday in the country. Colter says due to Swagger leaving, Alberto sneaked into the Main Event. Colter says everyday, thousands are crossing the borders and taking jobs from Real Americans. Colter says he and Swagger wont watch the country self-destruct. Swagger says “We the People.” Ross begins speaking of Swagger’s Wrestlemania match. Colter cuts in saying Swagger will get the championship, working hard to earn it. Colter says Del Rio doesn’t share the same values and should leave. Colter asks Ross if he has a rotting fruit basket, he wouldn’t smell it; but throw it out. Colter says Del Rio is the rotting basket. Colter says Swagger will win for the values of America. Swagger once again says “We the People.” Ross begins asking what happened to Swagger, saying he was brain washed. Colter says that is a big word to throw around, Ross says he should use his right to remain silent. Colter says Ross better watch himself, otherwise he would get himself into trouble. Swagger begins yelling at Ross after smacking his hat to the floor, pushing him. Swagger says he is not a Real American, but a sympathizer. Alberto Del Rio interrupts.
Alberto says they are the problem, and he is the solution. Del Rio says Swagger isn’t a Real American, but a real jackass. Swagger and Colter leave the ring.
The opponents to vote for Alberto Del Rio’s match next week are Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett and Antonio Cesaro.
Team Hell No make their way to the ring.
Primetime Players are in the ring. Daniel puts on a mask for Kane, with a goat on it.
WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) vs. Primetime Players (Darren Young and Titus O’Neil) (Kane will be blindfolded, and Bryan will have his hand tied behind his back)
Kane and Darren start off, as Kane wanders around the ring. Darren tries to trip him, but it doesn’t work. Kane hits Darren with a fist. Titus begins blowing a whistle from the apron, as Darren hits Kane from behind. Darren goes top rope, as Kane pulls on the ropes. Darren falls, groin first. Daniel is tagged, as he kicks Young’s chest. Darren is chopped in the corner. Daniel is thrown against the ropes, but connects with a Crucifix Pin. Kick out. Titus is tagged, as he takes out Daniel with a Lariat.
Daniel is thrown into the corner by Titus. Titus runs to Daniel, but Bryan puts up a boot. Kane is tagged by Bryan. Kane begins pointing around the ring, finally getting Titus in the corner. Kane connects with an Arm Drag to Titus. Darren is tagged, as he is Chokeslammed. Darren rolls away to the apron. Daniel is tagged, as Kane grabs the ref by the neck. Kane grabs Daniel also, but lets go after feeling his beard. Titus rolls up Daniel for the win.
Winners: Primetime Players via pinfall
Kane realizes the mask has a goat, and begins yelling at Daniel. Bryan promises he didn’t do it. Daniel calls for a hug, as Kane puts the mask on Daniel. Kane follows with an uppercut as he walks away.

Matt Striker interviews Big Show backstage. Big Show says it is Wrestlemania season, and is time to make an impact. Show says he can do that by Chokeslamming Randy Orton tonight.
Chris Jericho is talking via Skype on the Titantron, speaking of his tour in Australia. Also, after Smackdown, a replay of Robot Combat League will show. Jericho says he will be back very soon, and looks forward to it.
Another Fandango vignette is shown.
Matt Striker is backstage, inviting Fandango. Fandango appears, correcting his pronunciation. Fandango says Matt need to breath in his A’s more. Fandango is asked about his style. Fandango says he has mastered the ballroom, and will take his precision and grace to the lead, so everyone can follow his lead. Fandango says won’t debut tonight, until Matt gets his name right.
Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman are shown fighting, as they hit each other with Vince’s crutches. Vince goes to his Heyman again, but Lesnar interrupts. Triple H returns, and takes out Lesnar. The two brawl around the ring. Lesnar has his head slammed against the ring post, busting him open. Triple H hits Lesnar over the barricade. Lesnar throws Triple H on the announce table. Lesnar gets a chair, and goes to hit HHH. Lesnar is reverses into a Spinebuster. Lesnar is hit with the chair, as he rolls to the floor.
Next week, Alberto Del Rio will face Dolph Ziggler with 51% of the votes.
Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. A highlight from Raw is shown, when Randy Orton connects with an RKO to Seth Rollins from behind. Orton runs to the crowd. Big Show makes his way to the ring.
Randy Orton vs. Big Show
Randy and Show lock up, as Show pushes Orton down. Orton throws fists at Show leading him to the corner. Show puts Orton in the corner, going for a chop. Orton reverses, putting Show in the other corner. Show is punched in the face ten times. Show pushes Orton away, following with a headbutt. Show connects with a fist to a cornered Orton. Show connects with a chop from the corner. Show connects with a gut punch. Orton tries to fight back, but is chopped in the corner again. Show whips Orton to the corner, splashing him. Show runs the ropes, but is Dropkicked to the floor.
Show elbows Orton’s shoulder. Orton has his shoulder headbutt. Show locks in the elbow, pulling it behind his head. Orton stands out, throwing fists. Show connects with the Final Cut. Pin, but a kick out. Show goes to the second rope, attempting an Elbow Drop. Orton moves away, taking advantage by throwing fists to the head of Show. Show catches Orton in a Chokeslam, but Randy reverses into a DDT. Pin, but a kick out. Show rolls to the floor, as Orton follows. Show goes to throw Orton into the steel post, but Randy reverses it. Orton gets in the ring, as Show is on the apron. Show grabs Orton’s neck, but Orton snaps the arm across the top rope. Orton kicks Show, following with a Rope Hung DDT from the top rope. The Shield’s music plays.
The Shield surround the ring, as Sheamus makes his way for a save. Sheamus gets in the ring with Orton, waiting for the Shield. The Shield attack, as Orton and Sheamus get beaten down.
Winner: Randy Orton via disqualification
Reigns grapples with Reigns, as Roman accidentally bumps into Big Show. Big Show throws a punch, knocking out Reigns. Roman falls to the floor, as the Shield retreats. Show Chokeslams Orton when his back was turned. Sheamus retaliates with a Brouge Kick. Orton and Sheamus shake hands to end the show.
