NON (WWE INTERCONTINENTAL) TITLE MATCH
WWE Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero & Jacob Novak) defeated Johnny Curtis w/R-Truth: R-Truth was back this week, after missing last week’s NXT (he was replaced by JTG)..

NXT ROOKIES MATCH
Conor O’Brian (w/Alberto Del Rio & Ricardo Rodriquez) defeated Derrick Bateman w/Kofi Kingston: Daniel Bryan was absent this week, so he was replaced by Kofi Kingston as the “Pro” for Derrick Bateman.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Ted DiBiase Jr. & Maryse Ouellet + Brodus Clay: Ted Jr. scolded Mayrse for spending $20,000 in one store but she changed the subject when Brodus Clay walked in. Brodus thanked Ted for being a good coach, saying he represents everything he wants to be… he’s got the money, the fame, and the girls. Ted thought his rookie was patronizing him, and told Brodus to takes some notes tonight and see how a pro gets the job done – since last week he couldn’t get it done.

ON STAGE (THE POWER OF THE PUNCH)
Matt Striker The NXT Pros (Kofi Kingston & Alberto Del Rio & R-Truth & Chris Masters & Dolph Ziggler & Ted DiBiase Jr. w/Maryse) & The NXT Rookies (Derrick Bateman & Johnny Curtis & Byron Saxton & Conor O’Brian & Jacob Novak & Brodus Clay): Matt Striker said they would have their first elimination next week. The power of the punch competition is a punching a bag and the person with the biggest impact wins. Derrick Bateman scored a 750. Johnny Curtis scored an 814. Byron Saxton scored a 625 (lame). Conor O’Brian scored a 531 (really lame). Jacob Novak scored a 720 (close). Brodus Clay scored a 636 (embarrassing). Johnny Curtis earned two more immunity points.

NXT PRO VS ROOKIE
Byron Saxton w/Chris Masters defeated Ted DiBiase Jr. (w/Maryse & Brodus Clay) by DQ: Late in the match, Brodus Clay steam-rolled through Byron Saxton on the floor causing the disqualification. Ted Jr. yelled at Brodus after the match, and Maryse called him an idiot. Ted told Maryse to slap him, and she did it. Maryse laughed at Brodus as Ted Jr. stared him down and then they left him in the ring.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
R-Truth & Johnny Curtis: Johnny Curtis said R-Truth hasn’t been there for a few weeks, and maybe if he was there he would win more often. R-Truth told Curtis that sometimes you learn more from your loses than your victories.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Chris Masters & Byron Saxton: Byron Saxton said that he was red-hot after two victories in two weeks, but Chris Masters warned him not to get too cocky. Byron imagined Chris Masters body-slamming Brodus Clay. Masters told Byron to concentrate on the talent competition later. Masters told Byron it was his career on the line, and added that he was worried about him.

IN THE RING (TALENT COMPETITION)
Matt Striker & The NXT Rookies (Justin Bateman & Johnny Curtis & Byron Saxton & Conor O’Brian & Jacob Novak & Brodus Clay): Matt Striker blabbed on about NXT stuff before starting the competition. Derrick Bateman’s talent was reciting poetry and getting a weak cheap pop. Johnny Curtis’ talent was ribbon dancing (really nerdy). Byron Saxton’s talent was reading a fairy tale insulting Brodus Clay (ZZZZZzzzzz). Conor O’Brian’s talent was telling bad jokes in his creepy rat voice. Jacob Novak’s talent was looking good (seriously?). Brodus Clay’s talent was challenging anyone from the back (Michael Cole came out as a heel saying NXT still stinks! Cole stood behind Brodus and called him his friend. Brodus & Cole did a stupid routine that made absolutely no sense except to make people hate Cole a little more!). Josh Mathews kept calling it RIDICULOUS! Johnny Curtis earned yet another immunity point! Johnny got in a fight with Brodus Clay and all of the rookies started fighting in the ring with Brodus being the last man standing. Brodus threw Johnny Curtis over the announce table and he landed hard on the floor.
