Sami Zayn comes out and says he had a great time on the WWE Abu Dhabi tour in front of his homeland fans, but he was distracted. He says all he could think about was Kevin Owens, and the guy at the Takeover special wasn’t the Owens he knew. Sami says he has a plan, so he’s going to take back his title, and he’s going to kick Owens’ ass!

Rhyno vs. Local Worker

Rhyno charges the corner and hits his opponent a few times, then he throws him to the middle of the ring and Gores him for the win.

Winner – Rhyno

Rhyno says he came to NXT to make a statement, and he wants the NXT championship. He tells Sami Zayn, Finn Balor and Kevin Owens to all listen up, because anybody in his way is getting a Gore!

Bayley vs. Emma 

Emma mocks Bayley a bit and tells her to be aggressive, then Bayley charges her but Emma clotheslines her. Emma whips her into the corner and slams her into the turnbuckles, then Bayley shoves her a few times and hits her with a forearm. Emma knocks her down but Bayley repeatedly slams her into the turnbuckles, then she goes for a splash but Emma sidesteps her. Emma puts her in the Emma Lock and hits an EmmaMite sandwich, but Bayley reverses a pin and gets the rollup win.

Winner – Bayley

Becky Lynch is backstage and she says she was this close to winning the Women’s Championship, but Bayley screwed it up. She says everyone already got a title shot when she is the first in line, and she wants to know when her time is. Becky says she came here for one reason, and that’s the NXT Women’s Championship. She says Sasha Banks is bad, but not as good as her, and everyone is on notice because this is her empire, and this is N-‘Bex’-T.

Lucha Dragons vs. Blake and Murphy

Kalisto takes Blake out with an early moonsault, then he sends Blake inside and gets caught with some elbows. Blake applies a headlock, then Murphy knees Kalisto and applies a headlock before attempting a suplex. Kalisto floats over and makes the tag, with Cara hitting a crossbody and a springboard moonsault for two. Blake hits Cara behind the ref’s back, then Murphy hits a snap suplex and Blake frog splashes him off the tag for the win.

Winners – Blake and Murphy 

Sami Zayn is with Devin Taylor backstage, and she wants to know if Sami can shed a little light on his comments earlier. Rhyno walks over and says he was clear in what he said, and the line for the NXT title starts behind him.

Tye Dillinger vs. Jason Jordan

Jason knocks Tye down and splashes him, then he applies a headlock but Tye sends him into the corner. Tye connects with some mounted punches, but Jason slingshots him into the turnbuckles before hitting a reverse underhook slam for the win.

Winner – Jason Jordan

Two Out Of Three Falls
Tyler Breeze vs. Hideo Itami

Breeze slams Itami in the corner and splashes him, but Itami comes back with a knee to the ribs and some rapid kicks. Itami shoves Breeze back into the corner and connects with a running dropkick, and follows with a shotgun kick for the fall.

Breeze struggles to get up in the corner so the ref backs Itami away, but Breeze charges Itami and hits the Beauty Shot for the second fall.

We get back to see Breeze applying a headlock, but Itami breaks it and tries to get a cradle rollup. Itami gets another near fall with a sunset flip, then Breeze misses a Beauty Shot and Itami connects with a seated dropkick. Itami sends him into the ropes and attempts another shotgun kick, but Breeze ducks and hits the Beauty Shot for the win.

Winner – Tyler Breeze
