The Hell in a Cell opening package hits, highlighting the two Hell in a Cell matches that will take place tonight in Sacramento.

We go live into the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California to see a huge pyrotechnics display. The red Hell in a Cell structure is hanging ominously over the ring. Vic Joseph, Dio Maddin, and Jerry Lawler welcome us to the show.

Raw Women’s Championship – Hell in a Cell Match
Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch (c)

As the Hell in a Cell is lowering, Sasha Banks attacks Becky Lynch. Lynch is knocked outside the cell, and Banks gives her a suplex on the ramp. The cell is fully lowered. Banks sends Lynch into the barricade before whipping her into the cell. Banks talks trash and sends Lynch into the cell again. Banks goes inside the cell, gets in the ring, and poses. The referees are checking on Lynch as Banks poses in the ring. Lynch pulls herself up and kicks the door in Banks’ face. Lynch goes in the cell and beats Banks down. Lynch throws Banks in the ring, and the referee checks on her.

The bell rings to officially start the match. The referee is trying to chain the door shut, but Lynch steals the chain! Lynch gets in the ring and punches Banks in the midsection with the chain twice before smashing it off her back. Lynch uppercuts her with the chain and dropkicks her out of the ring. Banks tries to crawl out of the cell, but Lynch grabs her and sends her into the cell. Lynch rubs Banks’ face on the fence and throws her down. Lynch then chains the cell shut. Banks quickly kicks Lynch and sends her into the cell. Banks punches away at Lynch, but Lynch quickly kicks her back. Lynch sends Banks into the steel steps and goes under the ring. Lynch sends a table into the ring and grabs a ladder. Banks quickly blindsides Lynch with a steel chair and leans the ladder against the cell wall. Lynch quickly throws the chair at Banks’ head and smashes it off her back. Lynch sets the chair up, and Banks surprises her with an inside cradle for a two count. Banks rolls her up two more times for the same result. Banks catches her with a backslide for another two count. Lynch quickly knees her and slams her face off the chair, which is set up properly in the ring. Lynch goes for a Dis-Arm-Her through the chair, but Banks fights it and knocks the chair into Lynch’s face for a near fall. Lynch hits a Bexploder that sends Banks out of the ring, followed by three baseball slides that sends her into the cell each time. Banks quickly kicks her back and hits a meteora into the ladder leaning against the cell wall. Banks then slams the ladder off her. Banks gets Lynch in the ring for a two count.

Banks puts Lynch’s arm in the chained door of the cell (there is a little gap) and slams the door off Lynch’s arm. Lynch screams in pain. Banks gets her in the ring and sandwiches the arm in the steel chair before stomping it for another near fall. Lynch tries to fight her off, but Banks hits an arm breaker that takes her down. Lynch sits her on the chair and hits a meteora off the top rope, but Lynch kicks out.

Banks wedges a chair into the cell wall and grabs another chair. Banks swings, but Lynch ducks and rolls her up for a two count. Lynch kicks the chair into Banks’ midsection and kicks her off the apron into the cell wall. Lynch pulls herself up and attacks Banks on the apron. Lynch sends her into the ring post, goes outside, and hits a Bexploder into the cell wall. Lynch sets the chair up and lays it on the mat. Lynch gives her a drop-toe-hold on the chair followed by a facebuster for a near fall. Lynch cannot believe it. Lynch attacks her and goes to the top rope, but Banks kicks the feet. Lynch throws the chair at her, but Banks catches it. Lynch then takes her time getting to the top rope for a missile dropkick to pick up a near fall.

Lynch goes outside, and Banks smashes a kendo stick off her midsection. Banks beats her down with the kendo stick and wedges two of them into the cell wall. Lynch blocks a shot into the kendo sticks and smashes Banks’ face off them. Lynch sets a chair up on top of the kendo sticks wedges a third stick in there. Lynch fights her and sits her on the chair contraption on the wall. Lynch gets on the apron and hits a running dropkick into Banks!

Lynch gets Banks in the ring and hits a flying leg drop off the top rope for a near fall. Lynch is absolutely stunned. Lynch sets the table up, but Banks stuns her with a backstabber. Banks forearms her to the corner and talks some trash. Banks goes for a superplex, but Lynch fights her off and goes for a powerbomb through the table. Banks fights it and hits a meteora through the table… but Lynch manages to kick out! Banks looks like she’s going to cry. Banks soon catches her with a Bank Statement using the kendo stick. Lynch drags herself out of the ring and takes the kendo stick away. Lynch slams the stick off Banks’ back a few times and pulls her out of the ring. Banks quickly comes back by sending Lynch into the chair that was wedged into the cell wall earlier.

Banks throws a bunch of chairs into the ring and goes to another part of the ring and throws even more inside. There is a large pile of chairs in the ring. Banks slams the chair off Lynch a few times before smashing it on her midsection. Banks goes to the second rope, but Lynch surprises her with a chair. Banks hits a Bexploder off the top rope onto the steel chairs! Lynch immediately follows up with a Dis-Arm-Her! Banks pulls the hair and grabs for a chair, but ultimately submits!

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan

The bell rings, and Rowan quickly takes Bryan out. Harper and Rowan work over Reigns and get him out of the ring. Bryan comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick on Rowan. Bryan then wipes Harper out with a suicide dive. Harper grabs his knee in pain. Rowan scoops Bryan up, but Reigns hits a Superman Punch off the steel steps. Harper soon chops Bryan down as Reigns gets Rowan in the ring. Rowan blocks a Samoan Drop and dropkicks him down. Rowan hits the ropes for a big splash, but Reigns rolls out of the way. Reigns then hits a Samoan Drop for a two count. Reigns sets up for a Spear on Rowan, but Harper superkicks him for a near fall. Rowan drops a leg on Reigns for a near fall. The WWE Network app is freaking out at the moment. Bryan gets in the ring and attacks them, but Rowan and Harper quickly stop him. Reigns fights back to save Bryan, but Rowan beats him down. They get Reigns outside the ring. Harper whips Reigns into Rowan, who sends the steel steps into Reigns’ head.

Harper rolls Bryan into the ring, and Rowan attacks. They beat Bryan down in the corner. Harper avalanches Bryan, and Rowan follows up with a big boot for a near fall. Harper and Rowan go for a Doomsday Device, but Bryan fights them off and hits a victory roll for a two count. Rowan quickly beats Bryan down and knocks Reigns off the apron. Rowan talks trash, so Bryan surprises him with the LeBell Lock. Harper breaks up the submission and attacks Bryan. Rowan hits a jackhammer for a two count. Bryan makes a comeback, knocks Rowan out of the ring, and Harper hits Bryan with a Michinoku Driver. Reigns breaks up the pin. Reigns hits Harper with a clothesline and clubs away at him in the corner. Reigns hits the ropes, but Rowan pulls the top rope down. Bryan quickly dropkicks Rowan out of the ring. Bryan takes Harper down and kicks away at him in the corner. Bryan backs up, counters a Michinoku Driver, and dropkicks him in the knee. Bryan gets fired up and starts up the YES Kicks. Harper blocks the big kick, and Rowan pulls Bryan out of the ring. Reigns surprises Rowan with a Drive By Dropkick, and Harper floors Reigns with a suicide dive. Harper’s face bounces off the commentary table on the dive.

Harper and Rowan clear the commentary tables off. They slam Bryan face-first off the ring apron. They take Reigns down at ringside, and Rowan body slams Harper onto Reigns. Rowan tears a piece of the barricade off and hits Reigns with it. The impact sends Reigns into the crowd. Harper and Rowan put Bryan on the table and go for a powerbomb. Bryan counters with a hurricanrana on Harper to the floor! Reigns then catches Rowan with a Spear through the table! Reigns grabs his knee in pain.

Bryan has Harper in the ring, and he hits a running dropkick in the corner. Bryan hits a second and a third running dropkick. Bryan puts him on the top rope and goes for a super hurricanrana, but Harper blocks it. Harper hits a super powerbomb off the second rope for a near fall! Harper hits a pair of half nelson suplexes on Bryan. Bryan backflips through a third. Reigns hits Harper with a Superman Punch. Bryan follows up with a Busaiku Knee Kick on Harper, and Reigns finishes him off with a Spear for the win.

Winners by Pinfall: Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan gets to his feet and offers his hand to Roman Reigns. Reigns goes to shake it, but Bryan pulls away. Bryan then signals for a hug. Reigns turns to leave, and the crowd boos. Bryan gets a “YES” chant going, and Reigns hugs him to a big cheer. Bryan then raises Reigns’ arm up. They shake hands, and Bryan leaves the ring.

Charly Caruso is backstage with WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, who doesn’t get a good reception from the crowd. Rollins says against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt he’ll have to burn it down… at least he hopes he can.

A WWE 2K20 commercial airs.

Randy Orton vs. Ali

Ali starts off with an arm wrench, but Orton soon fights him off and chops him. Orton thumbs the eye, but Ali fights back. Ali goes to the top rope, but Orton sweeps the feet and sends him chest-first to the floor. Orton goes outside and gives him a front suplex onto the commentary table. Orton follows up with a back suplex on the table before getting in the ring. Ali gets in the ring before being counted out. Orton grabs the legs and viciously stomps Ali’s injured midsection. Orton throws Ali out of the ring and goes for a back suplex on the table, but Ali flips through. Ali then dropkicks him down on the floor. Ali gets Orton to his feet, but Orton turns him inside out with a whip into the ring post! Orton gets him in the ring for a two count.

Orton applies a body scissor, and the cameras zoom in on the hideous red welt on Ali’s midsection. It really looks brutal. Ali fights out, but Orton grounds him. Orton then applies a rear chin lock before punching the red welt. Ali fights up and gets Orton out of the ring. Ali then sends Orton over the commentary table with a suicide dive. Ali jumps over the table and punches away at Orton. Orton quickly punches him in the injured ribs and gets him in the ring. Ali kicks Orton as he gets in the ring. Ali rolls and hits a sit-out facebuster for a two count. Orton reverses a whip and hits a snap powerslam for a two count. Ali blocks a kick and hits a spinning heel kick. Ali goes to the top rope and jumps off, but Orton moves. Ali lands on his feet, avoids an RKO, and catches him with a tornado DDT. Ali goes for a 450 splash, but Orton moves. Orton starts to stalk Ali and hits him with a hanging DDT. Orton drops down and sets up for the end. Ali counters an RKO into a roll-up for a two count. Ali kicks him in the face and rolls into an RKO. Orton covers for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Randy Orton

Natalya will take on Lacey Evans in a Last Woman Standing match. Natalya defeated Evans via Submission on the Kickoff Show.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross (c’s) vs. The Kabuki Warriors

Kairi Sane starts against Nikki Cross. Sane takes her down and knocks Bliss off the apron. The Kabuki Warriors work over Cross until Bliss tags in. Bliss hits Insult To Injury on Asuka and slaps her down for a two count. Cross tags back in and takes Asuka down for a two count. Asuka fights Cross back. Cross gets Asuka tied up in the ring apron, and Bliss hits her with a baseball slide. Sane attacks Bliss, and Asuka kicks Bliss in the head. Asuka sends Bliss into the barricade before putting her in the ring for a two count. Sane tags in and works over Bliss. Asuka tags back in and chokes Bliss on the ropes. Sane tags in and pokes Cross in the eyes before hitting Bliss with a sliding clothesline. Cross breaks it up. Asuka tags in and applies an ankle lock to Bliss. Bliss rolls through to get out.

Cross makes the hot tag and runs over Sane, who also tagged in. Cross goes to the top rope and hits a flying cross-body block for a two count. Sane comes back with an Alabama Slam. Cross gets the knees up to counter the InSane Elbow. Cross hits a neckbreaker, but Asuka breaks it up. Asuka tags in and hits some kicks. Cross blocks on and clotheslines her down. Cross gets fired up. Bliss gets on the apron, kicks Sane away, and hits a cannonball to the floor. In the ring, Asuka hits Cross with Green Mist! Asuka kicks Cross in the head to pin her for the titles.

The OC vs. The Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman

Karl Anderson starts against Ivar. Ivar throws Anderson around and gives him a seated senton. Luke Harper tags in and whips Ivar to the corner. Ivar rolls up the turnbuckle, knocks Anderson down and avoids Gallows. Erik tags in and takes Gallows out. AJ Styles quickly knees Erik to stop the momentum. The OC continues to work over Erik until Strowman tags in. Strowman goes outside and runs The OC over with a shoulder block train. In the ring, Styles sidesteps Strowman to send him shoulder-first into the ring post. Styles applies a Calf Crusher to Strowman, but Erik breaks it up. The remaining members clear the ring until it’s only Styles and Strowman. Strowman goes for a Running Powerslam, but Anderson clips the leg. The OC triple-teams Strowman for the disqualification.

Winners by Disqualification: The Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman

The Viking Raiders make the save and hit stereo suicide dives on Gallows and Anderson. In the ring, Styles grabs Strowman by the beard. Strowman throws him to the corner, but Styles boots him back. Styles hits a forearm and attempts a Phenomenal Forearm. Strowman punches him in the face mid-air to lay Styles out. Strowman balls up his fist to send a message to Tyson Fury. Fury will have an open mic tomorrow night on Raw.

After Strowman leaves, Gallows and Anderson help Styles up. Styles is out on his feet and has trouble leaving the ring. They’re trying to tell him the day and town that he’s in.

The Street Profits are backstage. Carmella and R-Truth come up, but Tamina comes from out of nowhere and rolls Carmella up to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Before the match begins, Corbin grabs the microphone. Corbin says he’s disappointed to be facing Chad Gable again. Corbin says he put The Rock in his place on Friday. No matter how bad you have it, Gable has it worse. Corbin says he hopes Gable’s career is short like his legs. Corbin says as the king, he now dubs Gable as “Shorty Gable.”

The bell rings, and Gable hits a rolling leg kick and strikes away at him. Gable goes for an ankle lock, but Corbin rolls through it. Gable punches him, but Corbin throws him off. Gable applies a sleeper hold, but Corbin fights him off. Corbin then slides him on the mat shoulder-first into the ring post to knock him out of the ring. Corbin works over Gable and gets him in the ring for a two count. Corbin bounces him off the ropes a few times and forearms him. An “STD” chant picks up. Corbin punches Gable off the apron and taunts the crowd. Gable fights back at him, but Corbin turns him inside out with the out and in clothesline for a two count. Gable fights back again and counters an out and in clothesline. Corbin quickly floors him with a spinebuster for a near fall. Gable eventually makes a comeback with some wild forearms and a rolling German Suplex for a near fall. Corbin comes back with a powerbomb for a near fall. Gable catches him with an arm bar over the top rope before slamming the leg off the ring post. Gable gets in the ring, but Corbin hits him with a Deep Six for a near fall. Corbin beats Gable down and shoves him to the apron. Gable flips through the End of Days and hits a flipping neckbreaker. Gable follows up with a moonsault for a near fall. Gable applies an ankle lock, but Corbin gets to the ropes. Gable goes outside, but Corbin chokeslams him on the apron. Corbin grabs his scepter and goes to hit him, but the referee takes it away. Gable rolls him up for the win.

SmackDown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley (c)

WWE 24/7 Champion Tamina is walking around by the international announcers. R-Truth chases her, and Tamina uses Funaki as a human shield. Funaki challenges R-Truth to a fight. Carmella superkicks Tamina, and R-Truth pins her to win his 20th 24/7 Championship. R-Truth and Carmella run off.

The bell rings, and they circle the ring before Bayley sidesteps a big boot. Flair smiles and points at Bayley. Bayley kicks her, but Flair comes back with a neckbreaker before taking her down. Flair chops Bayley down and pushes her. Flair sends her to the corner and chops her down again. Flair sends her to the corner again, but Bayley comes off for a cross-body block. Flair simply moves out of the way. Flair applies a high angle Boston Crab, but Bayley gets to the bottom rope. Bayley gets out of the ring to recover. Flair grabs the hair, but Bayley pokes her in the eyes. Bayley then clotheslines her in the back of the head. Bayley punches away at Flair for a one count. Bayley continues to attack before sending her to the corner. Flair knocks her back and connects with a clothesline. Flair chops the chest and hits an exploder. Flair kips up and gets the crowd going. Flair blocks some boots and forearms her. Flair misses a shot to the leg, but does connect with a forearm to the face. Bayley quickly pulls her down and slams her to the floor. Bayley slams the leg off the LED apron a few times and gets her in the ring. Bayley takes her down and works on the leg. Bayley pulls her to the ring post and slams the leg off the post. Bayley picks up a one count. Bayley now applies a half crab. Flair fights out, but Bayley snaps her off the ropes for a two count. Flair quickly rolls her up for a two count. Bayley sends her to the corner, but Flair rolls up the turnbuckle and boots her down. Flair drags her to the ring post and slams the leg off the post. Flair works over the leg with kicks. Flair may have bitten her tongue as she is bleeding from the mouth. Flair hits a backbreaker followed by Natural Selection, but Bayley grabs the bottom rope. Flair gets her out of the ring and hits a fallaway slam on the floor. Flair slams the leg off the LED apron and gets her in the ring.

Bayley quickly rolls her up with her feet on the ropes, but the referee catches her. Flair takes Bayley down and applies the Figure Eight for the submission!

Winner by Submission and new SmackDown Women’s Champion: Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair celebrates winning her 10th Women’s Championship. Bayley flips out at ringside, kicks the ring steps, sits down, and bawls. Bayley pushes a referee away and continues to cry.

A WWE Crown Jewel promo airs.

Chad Gable is walking backstage when Kayla Braxton comes up. She accidentally calls him “shorty.” Gable says she just has to call him the winner of the match. She should ask King Corbin how it feels to come up short. Tonight we finally saw that Gable is the bigger man. Corbin attacks him soon after and leaves him laying.

Seth Rollins (c) vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

The lights in the arena are blood red. They lock up, and The Fiend quickly attacks Rollins. Rollins fights back, but Wyatt head-butts him down. Rollins goes under the ring and grabs a kendo stick. Rollins hits The Fiend with the kendo stick, but he doesn’t sell it. Wyatt punches Rollins to the corner. Rollins boots him back and jumps off the second rope, but Wyatt hits him with a one-armed slam. Wyatt follows Rollins outside and beats him around ringside. Wyatt sends him into the cell before avalanching him against the wall. Wyatt attacks some more before Rollins comes back by hitting him with the steel steps. Rollins gets a table in the ring and hits The Fiend with a pair of suicide dives. Rollins then sends The Fiend head-first into the steel steps. Rollins gets the table set up and goes for another suicide dive, but Wyatt counters into Sister Abigail into the cell.

The Fiend gets him in the ring and looks at the table. Rollins superkicks The Fiend onto the table and hits a frog splash through the table. Vic Joseph inexplicably says Rollins didn’t get all of that frog splash. Wyatt soon gets to his feet. Rollins hits a Stomp, but The Fiend stands right back up. The Fiend connects with Sister Abigail for a near fall. Wyatt snaps his neck and looks conflicted. Rollins is thrown out of the ring, and The Fiend goes under the ring to grab a mallet that looks like it came right out of a comic book. The Fiend drives the mallet into Rollins’ ribs and head-butts him. Rollins comes back with a pair of superkicks and gives him a Stomp onto the mallet. Rollins gets him in the ring and hits a pair of springboard knees. Rollins kicks him in the face and hits a trio of Stomps. The crowd is booing. Rollins cannot believe The Fiend is getting up. Rollins hits a Pedigree and another Stomp, but The Fiend kicks out at one. Rollins is stunned. Rollins kicks him in the face and hits five more Stomps. Rollins looks like he’s entering a dark place and goes under the ring. Rollins grabs a steel chair and stands over The Fiend. Rollins slams the chair off The Fiend’s head, but The Fiend kicks out at one. Rollins is flabbergasted.

Rollins grabs a ladder, places the chair over The Fiend’s face, and slams the ladder onto it. Rollins covers for a near fall. Rollins leaves the ring and grabs a toolbox from under the ring. Rollins places the ladder over The Fiend’s face and sandwiches the chair in between the ladder. Rollins viciously slams the toolbox off The Fiend’s face. The crowd is loudly booing. Rollins grabs a sledgehammer from under the ring. Rollins goes to hit the toolbox on top of the ladder, which is on top of The Fiend, with the sledgehammer, but the referee stops him. Rollins thinks about it and looks dejected. Rollins starts to cry a bit before hitting the toolbox with the sledgehammer. The referee immediately calls for the bell and the crowd has officially turned on this entire debacle.

A loud “AEW” chant starts up. Rollins goes to yell at The Fiend, but The Fiend props up and applies the Mandible Claw like nothing ever happened. The Fiend sends him out of the ring and hits Sister Abigail on the floor. The Fiend rolls back the mat and exposes the floor. The Fiend hits Sister Abigail on the floor and once again applies the Mandible Claw. Rollins is coughing up blood as this show mercifully comes to an end.
