(SMACKDOWN!) ELIMINATION CHAMBER FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
Triple H defeated Edge (c) and Jeff Hardy and The Undertaker and The Big Show and Vlaidmir Kozlov to win the WWE Championship!: WWE champion Edge and Jeff Hardy started the match with Triple H, the Undertaker, the Big Show, and Vladimir Kozlov locked in their pods. In a total shocker, Hardy pinned Edge to eliminate him at the 3:00 mark! This guarantees a brand new WWE champion by the end of the match! Time ran out and Vladimir Kozlov’s pod opened so he went after Jeff Hardy. The Undertaker, Triple H, and the Big Show entered the Chamber. Vladimir Kozlov was eliminated by the Undertaker after a Tombstone. The Big Show was eliminated by Jeff Hardy after taking finishing moves from Taker, HHH, and Hardy. The final three were Jeff Hardy, Triple H, and the Undertaker. Jeff Hardy was eliminated by the Undertaker after a Tombstone. Triple H planted the Undertaker with a Pedigree and pinned him to win the WWE championship! Edge demanded a restart, but his request was not granted…
NO HOLDS BARRED GRUDGE MATCH
Randy Orton defeated Shane McMahon: Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes interfered in the match, but they were taken out by Shane McMahon, including Shane performing a spectacular coast-to-coast onto Rhodes. DiBiase helped Rhodes to the back. Shane destroyed a bloodied Orton with a bunch of chairshots and then lined up for a punt to the head. Orton avoided the kick and connected with an RKO for the win!
ECW WORLD TITLE MATCH
Jack Swagger defeated Fit Finlay w/Hornswoggle to retain the ECW World title: Fit Finlay bounced off the ropes and accidentally sent Hornswoggle flying to the floor and he injured his ankle. Finlay was distracted and Swagger finished him off with a Power-bomb to retain his ECW World championship!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Shane McMahon was having some medical problems and Stephanie accompanied him to a medical facility..
SUPER GRUDGE MATCH
Shawn Michaels w/Rebecca defeated John Bradshaw Layfield: Shawn Michaels’ wife, Rebecca (aka Nitro Girl Whisper), was at ringside for the match. The stipulation was that if Shawn won he could get all the money he was owed and he would be free, but if JBL won then he would own the Shawn Michaels name and Shawn would have to work for him for the rest of his life. Talk about high stakes! JBL dominated the first part of the match like a strong heel until Rebecca got involved and actually punched him! Shawn Michaels mounted a comeback and finished JBL off with an huge Super-kick! Shawn and Rebecca embraced and kissed after the match to celebrate their newfound financial freedom!
(RAW) ELIMINATION CHAMBER FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Edge (sub for Kofi Kingston) defeated John Cena (c) and Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio and Kane and Mike Knox to win the World Heavyweight title!: Edge attacked Kofi Kingston and jumped into his pod to enter himself into the match. How is that legal? Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio started the match with John Cena, Edge, Kane and Mike Knox locked in their pods. Kane was eliminated by Rey Mysterio after a Thesz-press off the pod. Mike Knox was eliminated by Chris Jericho after a Code-breaker. World champion John Cena was eliminated by Edge after a spear and a Code-breaker from Jericho. Chris Jericho was eliminated by Rey Mysterio after a series of reversals. Edge speared Rey Mysterio and got the pin to capture the World Heavyweight title and put an end to a very crazy night! SmackDown! now owns both titles….
