CHRISTMAS CATASTROPHE IV
The fourth edition of Christmas Catastrophe takes place Saturday December 1 at the Casa do Minho Portuguese Centre at 1080 Wall Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This will be SPW’s final event of 2012. Already signed is the 2nd annual Christmas Battle Bowl featuring every member of the SPW roster and James Beaver challenging SPW Heavyweight Champion Jethro Hawg. Christmas Catastrophe IV is sponsored by Rent-A-Centre.
SteeltownPro will be hosting a silent auction during the event to raise money for the Children’s Wish Foundation. In 2009, SPW donated $650 to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
AJ SANCHEZ IN MEXICO FOR LUCHA LIBRE AAA
AJ Sanchez left Canada earlier this week to make his Lucha Libre AAA debut in Mexico City, Mexico. As part of a 2 week tour, Sanchez is set to train in various lucha libre gyms, learning from a variety of luchadores and compete on Lucha Libre AAA live events. Everyone at Steeltown Pro Wrestling wishes AJ Sanchez the greatest of luck!
JETHRO HAWG BLOG

2013 EVENTS CONFIRMED
Two events have been confirmed for 2013. SPW returns to the Selkirk Memorial Hall in Selkirk, Manitoba on Friday January 11th. SPW returns to the Centennial Hall in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Manitoba on Friday February 8th.
WHO IS THE MOST POPULAR WRESTLER IN SPW?
On the main page of http://SteeltownProWrestling.ca you can cast your vote for who you think is the most beloved wrestler on the SPW roster. Currently leading the pack is SPW Hardcore Champion Chip Fletcher followed by SPW Heavyweight Champion Jethro Hawg.
100th LIVE EVENT
SPW officials are planning to present its 100th live event in January of February 2013. This milestone event will kick-off the road to the 5th Anniversary Show to be held in April 2013. SteeltownPro will close out 2012 with 97 live events under their belt.
RUMOUR MILL
A few rumours have been circulating. One is that a WWE Legend will be entering a SPW ring in early 2013. Will this be a debut? A returning legend? We hope to have details before the end of the year! The second is that SPW officials are discussing re-launching a weekly TV series. From 2008 to 2010 SteeltownPro produced SPW iTV and in late 2010 produced SPW SHOWDOWN for GoFightLive. The third is that current SPW Hardcore Champion Chip Fletcher and former SPW Tag Team Champion Cory Diamond have recently discussed plans to retire from wrestling. Neither would confirm nor deny the rumours.
