Here we go again, another CM Punk disagreement with management. Hard to believe, I know. About a year ago, while writing for another publisher, I wrote about how Punk was the unrivaled best in the world.
Goldust Def. Ryback Via DQ
This was supposed to be the big match that really feel flat. Goldust has done some good matches in the past and really on his game but Ryback’s style didn’t flow well. It looks like with the Wyatt Family and The Shield already in a program that we will get these guys taking on the champions. Most likely at the TLC PPV.
The Usos Def. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal
A fun tag match but we have seen so many times that it just feels like filler. The Uso’s are mega over and proven they go with anyone in the tag division. 3MB needs to be repackaged in serious way.
Good Day fellow wrestling fan’s. I’ve been away a while and I apologize for that. It’s been a busy couple of weeks here in the Canadian nation capital of Ottawa. I’ve been away, but I’ve been watching, and I figure, why not vent some of my thoughts over the past couple of weeks of WWE TV. I obviously can’t cover everything, however, here is what sticks out the most. Let’s get to it.
David Dexter provides these clips of a recent Cody Rhodes interview:
On his career being in a funk: “I feel like after Money in the Bank in Phoenix, I almost took a nose dive, career-wise. I couldn’t get the reigns on it, but I feel like I finally got the reigns on my career again, and that happens in entertainment… I’ll be 28 this summer, and I’d really like to continue furthering my career, whether it’s teaming with Damien [Sandow], or it’s back in a singles capacity.”
LordsofPain.net writer Michael Bluth reports that Cody Rhodes was interviewed by the Phoenix New Times this week to promote Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Here are some highlights of what he said about:
Tag Teams In WWE: “When you talk about the overall, the renewal, I don’t know, I still want to see something from a lot of guys,” Rhodes said. “I think Damien (Sandow) and I stick out like sore thumbs because we’re very good at what we do. But we also have guys like The Usos, that’s a true tag team, they’re brothers, and I keep wondering when are they going to give themselves the kickin the ass to show us all what they can do because I know for a fact they’re extremely talented.”
The WWE has been overseas recently…check out these photos of the tour.
