DJ Hyde on believing in yourself in the business:

“I don’t know if other people need to believe in me, I’m not very well liked in the wrestling business by fans and wrestlers because I’m a certain way and have certain beliefs. I’m a pretty powerful man as a wrestler as well as a promoter. It’s one of those things you know…Got to roll with the punches. Combat Zone Wrestling returned to action Saturday night at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ for the promotion’s 15th Anniversary show. CZW drew a huge standing room crowd, the largest non-Cage of Death crowd ever for the promotion since their 2012 return to New Jersey, and one of their largest overall in years; estimated at over 1,000 fans.

Shane Strickland defeated Joe Gacy by pinfall after a head kick. Basic big man-little man match. In the “where did that come from” moment of the match, Joe Gacy hit an Osaka Street Cutter on Strickland.

jeezCombat Zone Wrestling star Blk Jeez recently took some time to take part in an interview with Blk Jeez spoke on several topics from his time in WWE and TNA, working with Ryback, current issues with Indy Wrestling and more. Here are some highlights from the interview:

You made appearances for both WWE and TNA, what were them experiences like?

I enjoyed my experiences with both companies. Basically, I’m at a point where being on the indies isn’t challenging enough anymore. There isn’t anything for me to accomplish on the indies. My appearances with WWE and TNA just confirmed that I have the talent, experience and maturity to make it on that level. That’s where I want to be and that’s where my talents will ultimately take me.
