Recent Kaitlyn interview on the ‘Chad Dukes Wrestling Show’

Kaitlyn 2WWE Diva Kaitlyn recently spoke to Chad Dukes of The Chad Dukes Wrestling Show.

Here are some highlights:

Total Divas:
“I think it’s such a great thing for the WWE in general it brings people that don’t normally watch, aren’t typically wrestling fans, aren’t sports entertainment fans, people that would just watch the E! network, and it kind of gives us like a broader demographic, and opens up our world to people.

Kaitlyn names Beth Phoenix as her dream opponent

KaitlynWWE Diva Kaitlyn recently spoke with Chad Dukes and talked about wanting to face Beth Phoenix when asked about dream opponents:

“Probably Beth Phoenix if Beth ever came back. I had a couple of chances to work Beth before she retired, she helped me a lot in my career when I first started because I’d be on TV with no experience. There’s a lot of girls that helped me out along the way, AJ was one of them. I had always really, really wanted a chance to have a feud with her because we were such great friends for a long time and she taught me so much early on in my career and helped me through a lot of stuff. So that would be like a dream come true and hopefully the Chickbusters can reunite one day.”

GUEST COLUMN: ‘How AJ, Kaitlyn, and the fans have brought the WWE Divas division back from the brink’ by Sean Linhares

In business, the customer is king. It’s a simple idea of Capitalism, if the customer states that they want something from a business, that business gives it to the consumer.

WWE is, of course, a business, and so it operates under those same rules. While McDonalds may have to give in to their customers’ demands for more French fries, WWE must do the same with their on screen product. If the fans don’t like someone or something in WWE, it is immediately dropped, as it’s simply bad for business to have someone on your program that is universally disliked.

AJ went on to explain why she did it: Kaitlyn was busy chasing the Divas Championship, while AJ was busy getting her heart broken. The resident Crazy Chick got into Kaitlyn’s mind, causing Kaitlyn to break down.

Taryn Terrell: For the past few months, Taryn Terrell had a lot of tension with Gail Kim, and at Slammiversary, Taryn was looking to settle things by competing in the first-ever Last Knockout Standing Match against Gail Kim. The match consisted of “Holy Shit” chants and some great spots, including the chair crossbody, figure four leg locks around the ring post, and a cutter from off the stage. Taryn Terrell ultimately won the match and a lot of respect from wrestling fans. If any women’s wrestling fan called Taryn’s performance in this match a hot mess, they should visit the nearest eye doctor ASAP!

This week’s nominees for M.V.D. are:

The Bella Twins: The Bella Twins were in tag team action on RAW against Divas Champion and the birthday girl Natalya. After ducking out the way of Kaitlyn’s spear and causing her to spear Natalya, Brie Bella got the win for her and sister Nikki. Adding insult to injury, The Bella Twins decided to sing their own rendition of “Happy Birthday,” which included them calling Natalya a LOSER! The Bella did a great job displaying their bitchy heel characters, but they could have displayed better wrestling skills during the match.

Kaitlyn: Kaitlyn teamed up with Natalya to take on The Bella Twins on RAW. Kaitlyn and Natalya looked as though they were going to win, but after accidentally spearing her own partner, Kaitlyn cost her and Natalya the match. Sorry Kaitlyn, but I don’t think Nattie wanted a spear as one of her birthday presents.

Natalya: In her hometown of Canada, Natalya celebrated her birthday. Going into RAW, Natalya hoped that her birthday was going to go well. Her birthday started off well after her boyfriend Khali sang her “Happy Birthday.” However, things took a turn for the worst during her tag match, where she teamed up with Kaitlyn to take on The Bella Twins. When partner Kaitlyn was going to help Nattie by spearing Brie Bella, Brie ducked out of the way, and Kaitlyn accidentally speared Nattie instead. Brie got the win over Natalya. After the match, Natalya was left in tears after The Bella Twins called her a LOSER while singing their own rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Well, at least there’s always next year for a better birthday.

Kaitlyn: On RAW, Kaitlyn received a text message from her secret admirer and read it to Natalya and The Funkadactyls. However, Kaitlyn still has no idea who her secret admirer is. When Kaitlyn, Natalya, and The Funkdactyls left the scene, The Bella Twins came from behind a curtain, high-fiving each other and looking devious, giving us a hint that they could be Kaitlyn’s admirer. Later in the night, Kaitlyn teamed up with The Funkadactyls to face AJ and The Bellas. Kaitlyn won the match for her team after AJ was unsuccessful with tagging in one of The Bellas.

This week’s nominees for M.V.D. are:

The Bella Twins: Brie Bella faced Funkadactly Naomi on RAW with sister Nikki by her side. The twins pulled their usual “Twin Magic” off, and Brie, or should I say Nikki, got the win. After the match, Cameron had the referee reverse his decision after finding out about the switcheroo. The Bellas took offense and beat down The Funkadactlys. As far as I can tell, this is not the last we’ve seen of The Bellas vs. The Funkadactlys.
