On this week’s Main Event, AJ Lee put her Divas Championship on the line against Natalya. Natalya earned this championship opportunity after defeating AJ in tag action a couple weeks ago. There was great back and forth action between both women throughout the match. Natalya showed a lot of aggression, and AJ pulled out a couple of flashy moves, which she rarely does as a heel. The ending saw AJ getting disqualified after Tamina superkicked Natalya. Natalya won the match, but AJ retained the Divas Championship despite being DQed. After the match, AJ locked in the Black Widow on Natalya, making Natalya scream and cry in pain.

“M.V.D. – Most Valuable Diva” is a weekly column where a WWE Diva or TNA Knockout is named the Most Valuable Diva of the Week based on their overall performance. The divas/knockouts that compete in matches and/or take part in segments automatically get nominated for Most Valuable Diva.
This week’s nominees for M.V.D. are:
Taryn Terrell: For the past few months, Taryn Terrell had a lot of tension with Gail Kim, and at Slammiversary, Taryn was looking to settle things by competing in the first-ever Last Knockout Standing Match against Gail Kim. The match consisted of ”Holy Shit” chants and some great spots, including the chair crossbody, figure four leg locks around the ring post, and a cutter from off the stage. Taryn Terrell ultimately won the match and a lot of respect from wrestling fans. If any women’s wrestling fan called Taryn’s performance in this match a hot mess, they should visit the nearest eye doctor ASAP!
David Dexter reports that WWE Diva Natalya admits she didn’t know much about the impact of malaria on refugees in Africa and elsewhere before she and fellow Diva Alicia Fox visited Rwanda.
Now she won’t stop talking about it.
“This is the first time WWE has done something like this. We’re able to use our platform for an important cause — to bring more awareness about malaria and save people’s lives,” Natalya (Natalie Neidhart) told Playbook recently. “We put a lot smiles on people’s faces.”
