WRESTLING BOOKS

The American Dream

by Dusty Rhodes

Description: Overall, it's a good book. Not quite what I expected, or what I hoped for. Includes lots of exerpts from other people, including: Jim Ross, Steve Austin, Terry Funk, Dustin Rhoades, and many more. Not as well organized as other books: it tends to jump around. More profanity than I would've expected, since I know a lot of young teens like to read wrestling biographies, but maybe since it's Dusty Rhoades, and not many youngsters are huge fans of his, he can get away with it. He's more arrogant in his book than I would've liked, he tends to blow his own horn a lot. But, it has a lot of humour, and funny stories. For a true wrestling fan, it's a must read. Oh yeah, for some more details. It's 254 pages, includes photos, an index of names mentioned, 17 chapters. The foreward is written by George Steinbrenner.
