WRESTLING DVDS

Heaven Sent, Hell Bound

The Best of Christopher Daniels

Description: A major disappointment. Christopher Daniels deserves all the accolades and credentials around the world for his amazing talent, a successful tag team tenure and his unforgettable moments in the X-Division and ROH but he also deserves a much better retrospective of his own career then this ridiculously chopped and sloppily produced DVD that could have been a sure winner. The biggest crime is the editing in the matches. While AJ Styles' DVD had all of his great matches presented in their entire entity, Daniels' matches are cut short, having most of time removed and only keeping portions that seem out of place. What's even worse is that the matches that are displayed in their entity are the ones that lack importance. For example, who the hell decided to clip the classic cage match between America's Most Wanted and Triple X (although it continues the big spots, it seems out of place without flow or buildup) and leave Daniels vs. Jerelle Clark in its original format? Had all of Daniels' important matches from his triumphant X-Division title win over AJ Styles at Destination X to his astounding tag battles with Elix Skipper against AMV been displayed in their full versions, this would have made a killer DVD. As a long-time wrestling fan, I have seen a potential-filled wrestling DVD fall completely flat on its face.

Rating: Recommendation to avoid
